Things I failed to blog (beauty-related)

Remember before I told you that I still have alot of things I need to blog and promised that I will do a  blog post about them really soon. Guess what, I failed! I tried, but I couldn’t find time to blog everything (one at a time). So I decided to do a group review. However, I can’t give you a comprehensive on all the products. Nevertheless, If you want me to do a thorough review on some products in this post, just leave a comment so I would know what are the products you are most interested with. (you can also tweet and messaged me on facebook)

PRIMERS:

Dr.Oil Solution Anti-Shine Dual Primer – Price: 498 – I don’t like it. It doesn’t do anything on my face.

The Body Shop Skin Primer Matte It – Price: ?? – Great primer especially if you have dry skin. But it works for people with oily skin too (or combi). Oil control is great but not superb. Amazing primer if you have flaky/dry skin, makes makeup glides easily with it. Yet, it’s quite pricey for the amount of product that I was able to get. Nevertheless, I still love it. It’s my saviour. I have a combination skin, (oily on tzone and really flaky on cheeks) and I use this on my cheeks to smoothens that surface for better makeup application.

Faceshop Pore Minimizer Cover-up – Price: ?? – Pricey for something that does nothing special. Hard to apply on face due to thick consistency.  Though it works for filling up the fine lines and pores.

Nyx HD Studio Photogenic Primer- Price: Php 650 – AMAZING! SUPERB IN OIL CONTROL!!!!! A must buy for people with oily skin (and combination). Brightens up complexion due to its color (white). The consistency is rather liquidy. However, make sure that your face is totally dry when you apply this or else, you’ll find it hard to blend it on your face.

FOUNDATIONS
Fanny Serrano Two way cake foundation in Organza - Php 399 - I haven't tried it enough yet to do a review. But the staying power is decent and coverage is good.
Faceshop Phytogenic Infinite Foundation - Good foundation. Quite expensive, though. One pot wouldn't last a month if used for everyday.

LIPSTICKS
Covergirl Lip Perfection in Heavenly - Php 395 - The formulation is good. It doesn't make my lips dry but lasts really long. The shade is definitely not nude as described in other reviews. It is slightly brighter (pinkier) than Nyx Tea Rose. However, it does oxidize on me.

Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in Coral Pink - Php 299 - The formulation is average for lipstick, not drying and good pigmentation. The shade is pretty, great for everyday.

Etude House Look at my lips in 10 - Price: I forgot again. It's around Php 300- is a nude lipstick with peach undertone. The pigmentation is quite sheer, it doesn't makes my lips dry but do not lasts long.

LIPBALMS
Venus and Mars Lip Butter Tints in Wine Pearl - Php 180 - very moisturizing, nice shade. Great lip tint. People who hates lipstick (drying) will love this.

Mary Kay Lip Balm in Mango - Php 600 (something) - EXPENSIVE! And not moisturizing. The shade is pretty but I don't like the formulation. It accentuates the cracks and lines on my lips. The smell and color are nice, though.

Nivea Soft Rose Lip Balm - less than Php 100 - another disappointment! i don't like it, not moisturizing.

LIPLINER AND GLOSSES

Etude House Soft Touch Automatic Lip Liner - no need to sharpen. Affordable. The shade I got is very close to my lipcolor, thus, appears nothing on my lips. Staying power is so so.

Wet n Wild Lip Liner - I love the formula. Very Affordable, one pencil will lasts me forever. Glides smoothly on lips.

Avon Lip liner and color - Great formulation, great staying power.

Careline Lipgloss - the best among all the most affordable lipglosses. I love it. great pigmentation, staying power, all! Who says you can't have the best of both worlds?

BLUSHES

Avon True Color Blush in Rose Lustre –Great blush!! Color is pretty. It’s pigmented. Good staying power. Not chalky.

In2it Blush in CW 03 Sensation- The color is beautiful! It’s a peachy shade on me. Good pigmentation. Average staying power. Not chalky.

Sansan Mousse Blush in Rosy Blush – I apply this before my Ever Bilena blush and it’s gorgeous! gREat staying power when use alone (set with powder) or use as base for blush.

Elf Blush in Peachykeen- Php 250- the shade is to die for. But it doesn’t appear pretty on my cheeks!!! Seriously, it’s like a shimmers with gold (not gold with shimmer lol) on my cheeks. Very chalky and staying power is average.

Prestige Blush – the shade is beautiful (pinky coral). Staying power is great and not chalky. It is pigmented enough.

Ever Bilena Blush in Honest - Php 150- the packaging looks good. The blush is really pretty (coral). The staying power is great. Overall, I highly recommend it

EverBilena in Pink Petal - I don't like the twist-up packaging. The blush is pretty but not as pigmented as EB Blush in Honest.

Elf Blush in Glow - Php 120- the color is gorgeous, a coral blush with gold shimmers. However, the packaging is very cheap, the powder is not as pigmented as I want it to be, it is very chalky too. I wouldn't repurchase again.

Eyebrow Pencil and kits

Elf Eyebrow Kit in Light, medium, dark - Php250 each - good buy. Comes in 3 shades, quite affordable. The packaging is cute and handy. Stays until the end of the day. The wax in the kit is good enough, the powder is pretty chalky.

Modelco Designer Eyebrow Kit - Php 1400 - expensive. Comes with 4 stencils (very fine, fine, natural and full), 2 angled brushes, spoolie and tweezer. The wax is really good. The powder is pretty chalky. The angled brushes are perfect for filling the hairs, spoolie is small but useful and the tweezer is good. Overall, a great eyebrow kit but overpriced (for me!)

Etude House Easy Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown- I love eyebrow pencils from Etude House. It works really well on me. This one is a pointed eyebrow pencil, you need to sharpen it. Dual ended. Comes with a brush. The shade is not really dark brown. It's lighter brown, perfect for people with black hairs but wanted a lighter eyebrow.

MASCARA

The Faceshop Extreme Volume Mascara - my HG non-waterproof mascara. The only mascara I used for everyday. It doesn't smudge on me but can be removed with soap and water. It doesn't give me a panda eyes when I accidentally rubbed it off my eyes. I like it so much

Revlon Beyond Natural Mascara - good waterproof mascara. It does lengthens my eyelashes. Hard to remove, though. Perfect for special occasions. The applicator is easy to use for upper and lower lashes.

Gel Liner

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Gel Liner - Php400 something - I got mine on sale (Php 314). The gel liner is as creamy as Mac Blacktrack. The brush that comes in the liner is pretty good, but I use angled brush since it's alot easier to use. It doesn't last forever on my eyes but lasts longer when sets with black eyeshadow.

Mac Fluidline in Blacktrack -Here is my first review on Mac Fluidlne. Yes, it smudges like it's crumbling. It doesn't lasts long when use alone (lasts longer when sets with black eyeshadow). However, I had this for a year now and I can still use it! Amazing, right? It's expensive but really worth it!

Liquid Liners

Tony Moly Easy Touch Brush Liner - Php 458One of my biggest disappointments this year. I was looking for a waterproof eyeliner. The SA recommended this to me so I purchased it. And yes, the hell, it's non-waterproof. It's quite pricey for my taste.  I used it once and never ever used it again. What a waste of money. When it dries, the color turns to be gray rather than black.

Fanny Serrano Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - Php 198 - the cheapest felt tip liquid liner I had. It does stays long on my eyes, but not forever. Can be easily removed with soap and water. Great liquid liner for the price (really).

Eyeshadow Palettes

Clinique - The purple is gorgeous, (perfect for everyday, work/school and even occasions). The definer (dark brown) is perfect as crease color. The dual ended brush is decent for touch ups.

Avon  Quad  - Another gorgeous color combi in a palette. The colors are quite pigmented and not chalky. The packaging is identical to the blush.

Avon Quad - great for everyday and work. I love all the colors, honestly.

Nyx Glitter Cream Palette - I got it for free when I won a giveaway from this store. The first three colors are really beautiful, but the two colors, does not appear really well on me.

Almay Quad-  favorite quad among the rest. The 1st color is gorgeous as highlighter or if you want to brightens up areas of your eyes (or even face).

Elf Quad - very pigmented. Great for smokey eye look. I don't like it though since it is very chalky.

Sk
FACIAL WASHES

D & G light Blue and Benetton Paradiso and Inferno
Benetton Paradiso and Inferno is a cheaper alternative for D & G Light Blue (has more citrus scent). However, D&G stays longer on me.

Venus and Mars La Chica
Smells really good and amazing staying power!! Seriously, you should try it.
Goody Stayput (200php plus)
Quite expensive but it is definitely a slide-proof clips.

Heavenly Lip Gloss, Smudge-Proff Mascara..& Pretty Pink Nails.. OH MY!

Hey everyone!

I posted about a new company that I was trying, called Glymm. It's one of those monthly mini products subsciptions that you get to try out brand products... mini style!! lol.. Pretty much just sample size stuff.

One thing that I have honestly fell in love with from Glymm, is this amazing lip gloss. They sent me a full size amount, which is awesome! It's called Principessa in Bacio Me.

This lip chap is AH-MAZE-ING!!!! It has the most comforting smell, sweetest taste, and CONDITIONS, CONDITIONS, CONDITIONS your lips!!! I am thrilled with this lip chap so far. My lips stay soft, and BF doesn't cringe when he gives me a smooch... BIG bonus!!

Here is the product description:
As a girl, let's be honest: Silky and kissable lips are imperative to our well being. Principessa understands and as such, offers this full sized lip balm to indulge your lips with Bitamin E and shea butter.

Love this product!!! Click here to visit the website... Cutest site.. Pink and Girlie!! Their products come in such pretty packaging too... Will definitely have to try out a few products from this site.

I also got a mascara to try. It's from a company called Blinc.

Here is the product description:
Since 2008, this pioneering formula has been nominated for more awards than we have fingers to count on. Tube your lashes with this innovative and effective mascara that forms tiny, water-resistant tubes around your lashes. They won't run, smudge, clump or flake, we promise!

I'm pretty picky with mascara. I haven't used it yet, but I will report back on it and let you know if it's a keeper, or it's a tosser! It will be really hard to out do my L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara.. but I will give it a go...

I also picked up a new Essie nailpolish in the color Muchi Muchi..

Super Super LOVE this nailpolish. It's a really pretty pink. The last photo above, I put it next to Fiji (on the right) to show you the color difference. I used about 3 coats to get that more "solid look".  My nail polish is about a week old, so the polish does stay on pretty well. I put the fiji on my toes. Even though it's fall time, I think pink is still super pretty at this time. Winter, I will start pulling out my darker colors... For now, I still love the pops of pink on my nails.

Well, it's that time.. time to get my butt downstairs, make my lunch for work, and get ready for bed. Since the clocks have gone back 1 hour, my body hasn't adjusted yet, so I'm exhausted by 9pm.. Grrrrr. Mind you, I do get a fantastic sleep! lol..

I also looked in the mirror tonight, and I'm super PALE!!! I need to self tan before bed tonight. With the darker hair, I need to keep some kind of glow happening.!! :)

Have a good night everyone..

My new Kate Middleton dress & A few other Goodies!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I have been missing in action for the past week. I have been really busy with work. I knew these first few weeks would be the death of me, but working 10-12 hour days is necessary to get caught up, especially with only the doc training me. I literally have to try and figure stuff out on my own while he isn't there.

I almost felt lost without blogging...lol.. it has been a part of my life for a few months now and I'm always so excited when I can sit down and just blog!!!

Sooo.. since I have been pre-occupied with work, I haven't done much shopping (although I'm in desperate need of some new make-up).. NEED to get to a Sephora.. like NOW!!!

Awhile back, I was looking through pics of Kate Middleton (I follow all the K.M style blogs, websites etc.) I came across this blue pleated dress that I just thought was the prettiest outfit. Take a peek...

Isn't it so sweet??? It's a Zara dress, and I actually ordered it online!!! I got a small because I wasn't sure how small the XS would be on me. I'm always so hesitant to order clothes online when I'm not 100% sure. I sometimes find that even though I think I know my size in my fav stores... some things just fit differently!

The dress FINALLY came in yesterday!

It even came with the brown belt!! I tried on the dress and it's just a tad too big for me, but I would rather it be too big than too small, so hopefully I can just play around with it before I get it taken in. The belt definitely doesn't fit, it's too big. I might look into either wearing a black skinny belt that I already own, or I can puncture another hole in the brown one and go from there.. what do you think?

The dress in the pic is totally wrinkled (from shipping it), but I will iron those wrinkles all away..haha. I just LOVE the pleating. I think I'm really into blue this season, and definitely pleats. I think this dress can be worn in so many different ways (sleek and elegant, casual, business-y etc.) I was so excited about this purchase, so I had to share that with you!

The next thing I got was a new mascara. I am inlove with L'Oreal's Million Lashes mascara in black. It is my absolute favorite mascara!!

Even though I have been using Latisse, this mascara just extends my lashes even more. It took me a little bit to get used to the wand, but I honestly love this one. I have tried every brand of drugstore mascara there is, and after a few days of this, it was my ultimate CLW mascara! I tend to throw out mascara if I have had it over 3 months.. Old mascara is just gross and flaky.. so get rid of your old mascara if it's starting to dry up!!

BF and I was at his parents house last weekend. I went to wash my hands and BF's mom had this hand soap from Bath & Body Works that smelt amazing!

It's called Creamy Pumpkin. I'm not even kidding, I was smelling my hands until the scent was gone. Sooo YUM!! Puppy was even trying to lick my hands..lol. Anyhow, she had an extra bottle and gave one to me. It's also so perfect for the fall weather this time of year. I am already getting so much use out of this hand soap. I highly recommend this to everyone! It has a sweet, but warm smell. I love it.. A million thumbs up for this creation!!!

Well folks, that's it for now. I have a four day weekend (thank you new boss!), so I will be writing my little fingers off with blogs.. Need to catch up. I might make my way to the mall tomorrow. I still need to find some things for work, and also get caught up on my make-up situation!

Hope everyone is having a great evening!

Love you all,
xo

My Most LOVED Mascara Picks

Finally... it's Thursday! I'm doing a double this evening and tonight so it actually works out awesome because I will have tomorrow off... YAY!!!

I wanted to do a fav mascara post. I LOVE to try new mascara's, actually I'm a little obsessed with eye make-up, especially mascara. I count on it to make my lashes the best they can be because I have such stubby, life-less lashes. Seriously, my lashes are blonde, short and stubby that if I don't wear mascara, I look like I have bald eye-lids. I cannot live without mascara. It's my #1, and if I only had one thing to take on a deserted island, it would be mascara...lol

I've come across expensive mascaras and cheaper mascaras, and I think if you can find a cheaper one that does the same as a more expensive one, I would take the less expensive anytime. Unless you have the money to spend on an expensive mascara, it's not really worth it because I find I go through mascara so frequently, it's just a waste for me. BUT... I still do like some pricier mascara's if I have a gift card because there is a few that... if I was rich, they would be CLW's for sure!

Ok, so I will start with the more pricier ones that I love. Both of these are just awesome!

This mascara is by Too Faced called Lash Injection. This is a great mascara. I tried a sample size of this mascara and fell in love with it. It really makes lashes long and full. It's definietly a more expensive mascara, so I only use my sample one when I'm going out somewhere special. Definietly a great mascara! Audrina Patridge from The Hills is a fan of this mascara, so because I love her and think she is beyond gorgeous.. I wanted to try this out for myself...L.O.V.E...I.T!

The next one I really like is Diorshow by Dior.

This is also a fantastic mascara. I got this awhile back and really loved it. It is just the perfect mascara. It left my lashes so thick I couldn't believe it. I really loved the brush with this one. It was so different (in a good way) because it left my lashes kind of curled too. 2 thumbs up for this mascara. It's also a little expensive... so ask for a gift card for bdays or xmas and invest in this one if you want to treat yourself to luxury because that's exactly what this mascara is... Luxury!

So now, my less expensive choices that I heart are:

L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes

I LOVE this mascara people!!! At first, I don't know, I wasn't too thrilled. Maybe it was because it was brand new and had to work it in a bit. After about 3 or 4 days, I fell in love... I'm pretty sure I pulled a Carrie Bradshaw told my mascara "hello lover"!! I have been using this with the Smashbox mascara primer and found that it works amazing. I'm not sure if it's because of the Smashbox primer, but I'm very happy with this one. I would buy this over and over. I chose Black, but I pretty much buy black in every mascara. Overall,I really recommend this pick. It seperates your lashes amazingly and gives them oh-so-beautiful length too! INVEST!!!!

Ok... So this next mascara is also a fav. I really really like this one because it gives my lashes extensions!!! It's L'Oreal Extral Collegen Mascara.

This is a gorgeous mascara! I will actually be alternating this mascara and the million lashes mascara. I use 2 coats of this mascara because it give incredible length. The only thing about this mascara is that I would get waterproof next time. I found the normal one wore off by the end of the day, so waterproof would definitely be a better option for this mascara.

I think waterproof for any mascara would be the way to go at least for summer. I always find that because it's so hot and sticky outside for summer, I sweat and O.M.G, it's not pretty! I would rather be safe and apply waterproof so that it lasts longer and I don't need to worry about my mascara drooping down my face as it melts...lol

On a side note, I do like Covergirl's Lashblast Mascara

I like this mascara but I find if I had longer lashes, then I would love it. It's like-able, but not love-able or ideal for shorter lash girls like myself.

Do you love any certain mascara's? What do you think about pricier vs cheaper? What do you think about waterproof? Do you love it? Hate it? Comment below and tell me or visit www.formspring.com/colbyavery and tell me. I really love trying new mascara's so I would love any recommendations!

Now.. I'm going to eat some dinner because my tummy is starving and talking to me right now. Tonight I'm having some chicken and a little linguine with tomato sauce. I did my exercises today, just at home though. It's butt day, and I worked the heck outta my tush.. Hopefully I can sit tomorrow *scared*

I've also been eating really healthy today and am super proud of myself!!! Saturday will be my cheat day, and I cannot wait for that!

Big hugs...xoxo

Weekend Haul: NARS, Smashbox & Dis-Organization

Happy Easter Sunday!

I'm happy to announce that I have made it halfway through my giant stretch of shifts and I have 2 more to go before I get a day off. So excited! I was exhausted today. That might have been because when I was trying to go to sleep last night, BF decided he wanted to vaccum at 12:30am. ARE...YOU...SERIOUS!!! Anyhow, I made it in to work, so tonight will be more of an early night because 4 hours of sleep is just silly.

So, over the weekend, other than turkey, ham and roast beef easter dinners with my fam and BF's fam, I managed to swing by Sephora becasue my beauty insider deal was almost over *tear* so I took advantage of the 15% discount. I also had a gift card that I actually found tucked away in an old purse of mine that had $15 (hello surpise!!!) so I thought I would browse around and see if I could find something that I loved.

Since I received my Sigma make up brushes (which I'm planning that post in my next blog I think) I have been trying to look for a nice neutral eye palette to start out with. I don't really wear much color on my eyelids, so I didn't want anything too overwhelming. There is the Naked Eye Palette from Too Faced I really loved, but I'm going to wait until my next trip there because the Too Faced one is a little more complicating in terms of mixing the colors together. I think it actually comes with a how-to manual....lol

Since I absolutely heart NARS, I picked up this eye palette in Belissima. It's a very neutral palette. It has a nice light color with a hint of sparkle for all over the eye, then a beautiful taupe-y/brown color for the crease. I blended a little bit on the lower lash line too and it looks amazing! I'm very happy with this purchase and I love that it has the little mirror with it. I'm a big fan of the mirrors that come in compacts. lol

I also picked up a lip gloss from NARS called Turkish Delight. This stood out instantly. The color is a beautiful pink. It's a sweet color for spring time. I tend to stick to more pink-ish tones when I go on the hunt for a lip gloss. I can't even tell you how gorgeous this color is! One thing I love about this gloss is that it's not sticky and it glides nicely when it goes on. Love this purchase, couldn't be happier!!!

The Smashbox stick you see there is actually a mascara primer. I got it as a free gift from the Smashbox website a few months ago and totally forgot about it. I used it for the first time this morning and LOVED IT!!! My lashes grew a little in length when I put on my L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara and they felt conditioned and oh-so-soft, and didn't irritate my eyes at all.

Do you have any eye palette's or glosses that you adore?? Comment below and tell me or visit my www.formspring.com/colbyavery . I love to try new stuff!!!

When I walked into Sephora, they had the purfumes displayed at the front. I got a sample of Miss Dior Cherie.

It smells amazing!!! I would love to get this purfume along with the Michael Jacobs Daisy too!! Now that I've smelled Miss Dior Cherie, I'm not sure which one I love more. These purfumes are on the wishlist for sure!

Actually, I totally forgot to tell you all, but last week I picked up a mouthwash because it was on sale at Shoppers. It's Crest 3D White Mouthwash.

I also have the Crest 3D White toothpaste from before, so I've been using both and I have actually noticed my teeth to be a little whiter and brighter with NO sensitivity!!!! OMG, I hate whitening my teeth because of how awful my teeth feel while in progress. They seriously feel like they are going to fall out of my mouth because the sensitivity is unbearable!!! Maybe it's just me, but I feel like this actually does work. I've been getting compliments on my teeth and people have asked me if I have been whitening them... what, are you trying to tell me they were yellow before??? LOL.. Seriously, I use the toothpaste first, then I rinse in the morning and at night before bed. This is definitely a rinse I will be re-purchasing. I just bought the small one to try but next time, it's the large for sure!

Lastly, O.M.G, what am I going to do with this mess????

This is my bathroom counter upstairs and I have no where to put my make up and skincare products. Right now they are sitting beside the sink. I need a good organization idea! Underneath my sink I already have my hair products, bathroom tissue etc, that I can't really fit anything else under there. Does anyone know of a good organizational place where I can get pretty drawers or something to get this off my countertop?? I don't want something ugly or bulky, just cute, plain and pretty! But.. I am in serious need of some advice from anyone! This mess consists of my fav make up items, skincare favs and also notice... my new Sigma brushes in the glass container?.. me like-y them a lot!

Please comment below or tell me at www.formspring.com/colbyavery as to what your make up/skin care organization is in your bathroom, or any ideas as to how I can clean this up! BF can't even look at this disaster.

.....HELP!

Anyhow, off to watch Amazing Race. Really love that show on Sunday nights. Hope all of your bellies are full of Easter dinner and I will see you all back here tomorrow. I am dying to talk about my new make up brushes!!

kisses!

Mel

Wishes & Kisses

Hey loves!!

I'm having the most tired day ever!!! Work was oh-so-boring today and I could barely keep my eyes open. What a drag!!! I opted to stay home from the gym because puppy isn't feeling so well and he's been having some accidents in the house so BF went to the gym and I will do some at-home stuff on my own. Whatevs...

Last night BF and I went to Shoppers Drug Mart because I had to pick up some mascara. I wanted to try something different, so I thought I would try L'Oreal's Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black

I put it on today and so far I really liked it.  I usually let myself try a new mascara for about a week, then rate it, but after one use, I was pleasently surprised!! I'm planning on doing a mascara review on all my favs and hates over the years so expect an upcoming post about that, probably this week sometime. I want to give my new mascara a chance before I give it an up or down on the love/hate meter.

I decided I wanted to spritz myself with purfume. I have been loving my VS Heavenly Angels body spritz and I don't think I can't ever get sick of it.. It's just beautiful people... beautiful!!!

ALTHOUGH.......

I have come across a new scent that I tried last night and not only to I HAVE to have it... The packaging is so beyond girlie that it's definitely a "display" purfume!!! LOOK!!!

It's called Daisy by Marc Jacobs... The packaging is what caught my eye first. How adorable are those daisy's on the cap?? Then, it's pink!!! my fav color. I spirtz and then I fell into heaven.... Is this what heaven smells like? I couldn't stop smelling myself.. yes, I know I'm weird.. but it's like my nose was a magnet to my wrist and every time I breathed in.. I was falling inlove over and over again. I cannot wait to get this purfume. This is a wishlist item and I dont' understand how I never discovered this scent before. It's not a fruity scent, it's kind of floral but with a sweet touch??? It's hard to describe purfumes, so you will have to go to the store and check it out.. It comes in a large and medium size. I just love it!!!

I also loved the smell of the purfume Gucci II

This one also smells amazing. I honestly think I am drawn to the pink purfumes. I can't even explain this scent to you other than forever love..... ahhhhhhhh

Another item that I'm dying to get is a watch. I've owned watches before but then I got a cell and the watch disappeared off the face of the earth in my mind. I forgot how much I love the look of them, and especially for time..lol.. I have had my eyes on this particular watch for quite some time now. Introducing... Michael Kors watch in white

Super cute??? I think so! I'm hoping to have enough saved up to buy this watch the beginning of June. I love white for the summer and it will go with pretty much everything. My purse isn't white so it won't be too matchy matchy... I used to love when everything matched, but now not so much. I think each item you are wearing should be able to have it's moment. Plus, this would look killer with a cute loose black tank, jeans and some cute cowboy boots with some killer diamond stud earrings...eeeeekkks.. so excited for this purchase. It's also oversized, almost boy-ish, so that's a super plus in my buying books!

I have mentioned this on facebook. I am so dying to get a Pandora Bracelet. I have seen numerous ones now and I'm so inlove.

What I like about this bracelt is that it looks amazing matched with your fav watch.. um..hello michael kors!!! But I want to get this braclet more for the memory side of it. I want to be able to ask for a different charm on holidays, birthdays, etc... I want this to hold beautiful memories of my life and my joys throughout life. I think every girl deserves to have their own.  Everyone's bracelet is different so even though lots of girls have this bracelet, each one is so individualized that it's pretty much a one-of-a-kind piece. It's a story of every girls life and what they hold as their keepsakes.. their memories.... their everything!

Is there any purfumes, watches, jewellery that you love or that are full of memories?? Leave me a comment below or visit my formspring page and tell me at www.formspring.com/colbyavery

I love everyone's feedback on my blog. You all are amazing and I'm so happy to have you in my life. I love the support you all show me with my blog and if it wasn't for you, I would be sitting in a slump position on my couch watching some god awful sport with BF, but now, I can sit down and write about all the girlie stuff that I love, that I crave, that I long for and BF doesn't have to hear it.. lol

me like!

Oh.. BTW.. have you seen the preview for "Something Borrowed?" movie?? I'm pretty sure I was jumping for joy. I read and have all of those books in that series and I'm super pumped to see this. Girlie night for sure!!! If anyone's interested in seeing this with me, let's do it!!!

I hope you all have a fantastic monday night.. one day closer to friday!!!

COVERGIRL LASH BLAST NON WATERPROOF MASCARA

I don’t feel like writing today, but, oh gosh, I haven’t reviewed any products for a looooong time. Now, I’m guilty!

Moving on, I’ll be reviewing my current mascara, the infamous COVERGIRL LASH BLAST, REGULAR (NON WATERPROOF) VERSION. Seriously, I never expected it will works for me. My first ever NON WATERPROOF HG Mascara! I’m just so happy.

At first, I was not impressed by this product. Yes, you heard it right. The first time I applied it, (with 2 coats I think) it CLUMPS! The handle is so big for my taste. And, the hell, it does not hold the curl that much. That’s my first impression. But most of the time, first impressions are just the first.

Then the other day, I realize why it does not works for me… it’s because I was expecting too much to the point that I was already comparing it with my waterproof mascaras. Well, you see, I’ve been using Waterproof mascara everyday for a very long time. It looks great because it holds my curls the whole day but waterproof mascara? oh my, it’s hard to remove! So, I decided to try CG Non Waterproof. I hesitate at first because most regular mascaras smudge on me. But this one, it doesn’t! Thank you CG Non Waterproof mascara, now I realized that Waterproof mascara for everyday is an insane idea!

Yes, I love it so much that I tried so hard to make this works perfectly for me. I tried applying it as carefully as I can, to prevent clumping. If it clumps, I use eyelash comb to separate them. I also curl my lashes before and after applying this mascara to make sure it holds my lashes much better.

It’s the best NON Waterproof Mascara I’ve tried… so far. This is best for everyday. But, if you’re looking for the mascara that will hold your lashes amazingly, I would recommend you to use the other formula which is the Waterproof one.

PROS
-Does not smudge.
-Easy to remove

CONS
-Big brush = I hate it
-It clumps
-Does not hold the curl (which is acceptable for non-waterproof mascara)

Will purchase again? Definitely!
