Shopping: NARS, Lululemon & a Protein Treatment

Hey everyone!

So this past weekend, I did a little shopping. These were actually all random purchases, but BF and I were browsing through the mall and I just couldn't resist.

First, I had a V.I.B $20 off coupon from Sephora, so since I ran out of bronzer, I picked up another NARS Laguna bronzer.... Love this stuff!!! It's such a beautiful shade of bronze. I absolutely adore this, especially in the winter when I don't want to look crazy tanned!

Next up, I am LOVING the colors in Lululemon right now, especially the pinks. I love how the colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I thought I would treat myself to a new tank for the gym. I usually always buy just the racerback tanks because they are simple, but sometimes I like something just a little different, that is super cute.

As you can see from the first pic, the front is plain pink (dusty rose I believe is the color pink), and the pic below is of the back. It has a sort of "dragon-ness" to it. I thought it would be cute to have a bit of detail, especially since the color is so vibrant, it would give it a pop of pretty-ness!

It's also not super tight (which is good because I hate when tanks are just too tight on people... pet peeve!)

If anyone wants to know my size, pricing and the details of the tank, see the pic below. This is in Canadian funds. It also has a super cute little zipped pocket in the back to store a little key or hair tie, or whatever. The material is nice and durable and a little thicker than the normal tanks, so I feel it was money well spent since I'm planning on wearing this out like crazy!

The last thing I got was a re-purchase. This is L'Oreal's Absolute Repair Conditioner. It's a protein treatment deep repair mask that I use on my hair about once a week. What I normally do, is alternate between a deep moisturzing conditioner (like S-Factor's Serious Conditioner, or Macadamia Deep Repair Mask), then I use this protein conditioner. My hair feels like silk after I use this. It puts nutrients back into my hair, helps smooth out gross, dry ends... and all in all, strengthens my hair.

This conditioner should not be used more than once a week, because it's such a strong protein. If you put too much protein in your hair, it will give the reverse effect. It will make it dryer, weaker, and awful... Most salons recommend a protein treatment twice a month, but with alternating the moisturizing one and the protein one, it works wonders for me!

If you haven't tried this, definitely give it a go!!!

Anyhow, I hope everyone is having a great night. I'm trying to get all my Christmas shopping done this week so that I will be all good to go by next week. I'm super excited to have some time off soon for the holidays!

Love always,
xo

One Hundreth Post & Make-up of the Day

 Hey everyone!

Yesssss!! It's the weekend. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to sleep in tomorrow. Oh my goodness I have been awake everyday this week at 4am... Really sucks!

I just wanted to announce that this is my 100th post!!! YAY! Thank you to everyone who has supported me. I am loving the blog world and love all my wonderful readers. You all are amazing and I'm so thankful that you take time out of your day to read my blog. It's a work in the making and I'm trying to think of things to make it even more enjoyable to read!

I am hoping that by next year I will have a better camera to work with. I know how much better it makes a blog, but thank you to everyone for sticking with me and my blurry-ness! LOL.

I just wanted to do a quick make up of the day! This is my day to day make up that makes me feel pretty and confident. I like going with simple colors and simple application.

I know it might look like I have a ton of products.. but really, it takes me under ten minutes to do my make up everyday. I don't like spending all my time doing my make up. I like spending more time doing my hair..lol

The products above are:

- Laura Mercier Silk Foundation in Medium Ivory
- M.A.C Studio fix powder in C3
- Smashbox bronzer (I also alternate with NARS Laguna)
- Bobbi Brown Peony Blush (recommended by Veronika of Veronika's blushing)
- NARS Albatross highlighter
- Maybelline's Age Rewind Instant Dark Circle Eraser
- M.A.C gel liner in dipdown
-
M.A.C loose eyeshadow in Vanilla
- NARS eyeshadow in Belissima (I actually use the darker shade on my eyebrows.. I know.. weird huh?)
- L'Oreal Million Lashes in Black
- Forever 21 lipgloss (just a very sheer, glossy, pink-y/sparkle-y color)

That's pretty much it ladies. Of course I switch up my make up here and there, but that is just a basic idea of products I use on a daily basis. When I go out though, I like to play up my eyes more, but during the week, I just like to keep it simple and fresh.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I went shopping today so I will post all about my new purchases tomorrow.. stay tuned!!
