I have been a loyal user of bb cream for quite a long time now. I’ve tried several bb creams already from different brands like skinfood, skin79, lioele and so on. But this is so far the most unique bb cream. Want to know why? Keep reading!

PACKAGING
Also unlike most bb creams that come in a pump, this has a safety lock (twist to close/ twist to open)  which is so far the most convenient packaging for a bb cream especially when you like to travel! And oh, the packaging is very sleek and slim.
From Lina's review

Color/ Formulation/consistency/finish:

Before I finally had this bb cream, I already read some reviews from my blogger friends who also do blog reviews for Luview. They received this bb cream long time ago and they totally freaked out when they saw the white cream for the first time. Thank God for their reviews, atleast I know what I should expect.

When I first swatched this bb cream in the back of my hands, I freaked out . Not because it has white cream-like consistency but because I thought it would be a plain white cream. This bb cream comes in a white cream with brown particles in it.

Then I tried blending it out and Oh my goodness, this bb cream turns into yellowish/brownish color. Magic! From there, I found out that the brownish particles are the color or shade of the bb cream. The technology was amazing! This will help  the bb cream to blend naturally on your skin

When you blend it out even more, you’ll notice that it contains tiny shimmers. This can be either be good for you or bad.

For ladies who are not as flawless as Korean ladies, this tends to emphasize the bumps going on your face. (Recommendation: If you’re having a breakout, I advise you not to put this on areas where you have acne/pimples. You can put this on certain areas, as shown in the pic below, on your face to make it looks brighter)
from Luview

BUT, if you already had a beautiful skin (just like most Koreans) this will make your skin looks even more beautiful and healthy looking! The micro shimmers will give your skin an illusion of radiant, porcelain-like skin. Definitely, a bb cream for dewy looking skin!

Since this comes in a light cream, you’ll have no problem in blending it out.

COVERAGE

Since it has a watery-like consistency, don’t expect that this will cover your acne marks. For me, this bb cream works very well in brightening the face instead of covering the flaws.

Additional Benefits:

Whitening: According to the packaging, this contains white flowers that help whiten and brighten the face. I haven’t seen the whitening effect yet since I’ve been using it only for few days. But yes, this will help brightens up your face.

Sebum Control and Moisture supply: I don’t know how long I will need to retouch my face if I use this alone but when I set it with powder, I usually blot my face 2-3 x a day.

PROS:
- Packaging is ideal for travelling
- Unique (I know, sometimes it is very tiring to see the same thing in all bb creams)
- Sheer coverage (for people who want it sheer)
- Not cakey
- Little goes a long way
- blends well
- Gives a natural, porcelain-like skin
- works if you like dewy looking skin
- brightens the face

CONS
- sheer coverage (if you prefer medium-heavy)
- has micro-shimmers (will emphasize the bumps on your face)
- not available locally

Would I recommend this: Yes! Definitely the most unique bb cream I ever tried.

I hope this post will convinced you to join my giveaway contest! 5 winners will have the chance to win this bb cream. So hurry now and join!

Luview Crystal Cover BB Cream

Oh yes, finally! I have time to do this review! As you know me, I don’t really do reviews on the product as soon as I got them just because I want to be sure with whatever I will be posting on my blog. But since this is a sponsored review, I don’t want my sponsor to be waiting 'til forever. So, I had an idea of having an initial review with this. Yep, this review will be my “initial” meaning there’s another in the future. Let’s see when. Maybe, 1 month?

I’ve been using this for a week now so I guess I’m ready with my initial reviews. All changes on my skin or anything that concern this product starting tomorrow will be included in my “re-visit” review.

The product I received from Korea Cosmetics is from LUVIEW company. At first, I thought it is pronounced as “LOU-VIEW” but I heard while searching youtube that it is pronounced as “Love You.” Cool right? When someone loves you, he/she takes care of you and because the product says “Loveyou”  maybe, this will be a product that will takes care of skin. Hahah!

Anyway, Luview came from words Luminous + View and was intelligently combined as “Luview.”

Ingredients?

On the product review,

Let’s start with the PACKAGING as I always do.
It comes in a Pump packaging like this, which reminds me a lot of my Skin79, only it is few inches taller. Though it is taller, it has the same amount of product (40g as stated in the packaging). For me pump tubes like this is the best packaging for bb creams, foundations or creams and I’m so glad it comes in this packaging!

The color selection in the packaging is really great! It is so elegant and classy!
Okay, here’s another thing I love about the packaging. Can you guess? Can you guess? Oh, it has English instructions! You know in my past reviews, I keep saying “Why is it always written in Korean!?” Oh boy!
 Formulation/consistency/finish:
It has triple functions like my skin79 bb cream: UV Protecting spf 30, whitening and Wrinkle improvement.
Here’s a comparison of the Luview BB Cream together with my other two bb creams: Skin79 and Missha
From the picture, you could tell that skin79 is the lightest, followed by Luview and Missha is the darkest.
Missha and Luview are almost like a same shade but Luview is a tone lighter when your blended out. Although they are almost in the same shade, I like Luview better than Missha as Missha turns pinkish beige on my face when blended.

The consistency of Luview is almost the same as Skin79.

But one thing very distinct with this bb cream is that I find it  hard to blend on my skin. The shade blends well on my skin but during the process of blending, I find that this dry fast than usual bb creams so I have to blend it as soon as I put it on my face. I prefer using my hands in blending this because my hands will warm up the product making the consistency more workable on my face.
The finish of this bb cream is not the usually dewy looking skin. It’s more like a semi-matte finish. It’s in between a matte powder finish and a slight dewy bb cream finish, if that makes sense.

Coverage
I would say it’s in light to medium coverage. This is perfect for Korean-like beauties! I like bb creams a lot because they focus more on brightening the face rather than the coverage it will give. I’m not a huge fan of heavy coverage liquid foundations because they feel heavy on my face and they tend to melt on me making my face looks greasy and oily!

Staying Power:
It stays 4-5 hours on me but stays longer when I set it with the Luview Pact powder which I will be reviewing soon. Watch out for that.

Would I recommend this:
Oh yes! It’s a great product like my skin79 bb cream.

BEFORE AND AFTER PICS!

Look at what I've discovered

Look at what I've discovered when I accidentally dropped my Skin79 BB Cream

After I dropped my Old Skin79 BB Cream

More BB CREAM inside the bottle! Hooray!

Yey, i'm so happy. I don't like wasting products you know :) I'm about to throw this because i thought it was empty. But I was wrong! ^_^

Try this at home. Forcefully open the top of your Skin79 BB cream using Screw driver or ruler or anything you think you can use.

I reassemble it afterwards.

SKIN 79 HOT PINK BB CREAM

Before buying any makeup online, I make sure to google it first. I don’t like wasting money you know. J

What is BB Cream?
BB cream, also known as Blemish Balm or Blemish Base, is a cosmetic item sold in Korea.
It was initially used by dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin while providing light coverage for post-laser scars, acne and other blemishes. Additionally, BB cream encourages skin regeneration and helps to maintain youthful skin.

Originally formulated in Germany, BB cream has in recent years gained a huge following for its skin-regenerating properties and is now also widely used in Asia to provide natural-looking skin coverage. Korean celebrities and cosmetic companies were the first to discover BB cream and the craze for this wonder cream, which beautifies while healing, has now spread from Korea to Japan to South East Asia and is already quickly making its way to Europe and the USA.

It’s oohh so tempting! BB Creams, according to some reliable people in the internet, acts as foundation but much better. It provides coverage but unlike most foundations, it helps improve skin.

I was like, “Ohhh, I have to buy this!” I want to try liquid foundation because I haven’t tried any since I was born.LOL. But, I was scared that liquid foundation might damage my skin. But, if this would make my skin better, why not right?

So, as usual, I look for a reliable seller in ebay for Korean makeup. I purchase sample size of bb creams which includes Skin79 hot pink, Lioele Beyond Solution, Missha Perfect Cover and Skinfood in Aloe Vera. I tried everything one at a time.

In terms of Coverage, Skin 79 hot pink and Skin food provide, in my opinion, light to medium coverage. Lioele and Missha provide medium to full coverage. Though, lioele was too light for me. So I ended up with Skin79 vs Skinfood vs Missha. In terms of oil control, I can’t say which is better since I’m not that oily and I topped bb creams with powder. So, can't really test which is better in oil control.

Anyways, moving on. Among the three, I bought the full size of Skin79 Hot pink. Now, you’re wondering why? I do like Skinfood Aloe Vera and Skin 79 because it's light on skin compared to Missha but Skin79 has more benefits than Skinfood! Which is why I choose Skin79!

So, here’s the picture of full size Skin 79 HOT PINK.

Skin 79 “SUPER BEBLESH BALM, TRIPLE FUNCTIONS: WHITENING, UV PROTECTION SPF 35 PA++ AND WRINKLE-FREE” says,

It is 3 effectes functional beblesh balm.
By Adenosine and Arbutin which are effective in whitening, wrinkles improvement cultivate more bright and elastic skin
Intercept ultraviolet rays UV A and B at the same time and protect skin exposed from the sun more thoroughly
OSMOPUR ingredient of new concept which are mixed Sunflower, rice bran, ivy extracts protect skin from various Harmful conditions.

So, here's my review:

As you can see in this picture, it has a gray undertone to it...

even if spreads out..

But once blended, the gray undertone disappears which helps brighten skin..

It has this really fine shimmers which makes skin looks dewy and glowing.

Here’s a picture of me. (pardon my face, I don’t have any makeup and just woke up!)
Since I just woke up, I decided to make this BB cream test for you, so you could really see the difference!

I apply Skin79 BB cream at one part of my face. Hope you can see the difference..
(i know, it's hard to see the difference with that kind of lighting! Let me take another shot with a better lighting)

Here's another shot (close up! smile!)

Can you guess which part has BB cream?

Let me zoom it so you could see the difference closely! Look at my pores!

Let me zoom it again!

(not edited)

See, it provides a light to medium coverage, tightens pores and leaves skin with dewy looking skin!

PROS
>Works as foundation but 10x better ‘coz it helps improves my skin!
>Compared to other bb creams out there, it has 3-in-1 function
>Has mild scent like those in powders
>It has thick consistency but can blends easily using foundation brush or fingers!
>A little goes a long way. 40g bottle lasts me 5 months with everyday use!
>Light on skin
>I tried applying it many times, but does not look cakey
>Good job in tightening pores
>For oily and combination skins like mine (if you have dry to normal, try the Gold one instead)
> Dewy finish
>All-in-one cosmetics! Can be use as primer or base for powder foundation, use as foundation alone, can be use as sunblock because it has SPF 25 PA++and Moisturizer. Imagine how much you can save by only using this!
>In my makeup routine, I use this as base. I topped it with my powder/foundation. But when I’m in hurry or don’t want the hassle of foundation or I don’t need much coverage, I use this alone. Makes my skin dewy looking!

CONS
>Not available locally. Can be purchased online
>1 Shade only

I like this a lot because it’s something I can trust my skin. I like this 10x better than foundation because when I use it, I feel no guilt because I know it’s helping my skin instead of hurting/damaging it!

Would I recommend it? If you’re a too-busy-person-for-makeup definitely I will! If you hate too much products on face, this will work on you! If you’re looking for a sheer to medium coverage that won’t hurt your skin, this one is for you! Again, what works for me might not work for you but this is definitely worth a try!
