Satyamev Jayate Aamir Khan

A few days back, as I was walking with my thoughts wandering aimlessly, an advertisement said - "Dil pe lagegi tohi baat banegi."

It was Aamir Khan promoting his new television serial - Satyamev Jayate. His words were bang on target and apt for almost all circumstances which we face in our daily life.

Aamir Khan Satyamev Jayate
And if these words were classical, the theme song or title song of Satyamev Jayate is simply fantastic. Inspired by the Emblem of India, the song captures the pulse of the nation.

The video stars Aamir Khan and you can catch it right below. The song is written by Prasoon Joshi and is composed by Ram Sampath (Yes, Ram of the D.K. Bose fame)

Satyamev Jayate means Truth Stands Invincible. And this song says just one theme - The nation of India is invincible.

Aamir Khan has done justice to the song by travelling across India, capturing people's emotions, their travails, their aspirations, their happiness, their simplicity et al.

Tere rang aisa chadh gaya
Koi aur rang na chadh sake
Tera naam seeney pe likha
Har koi aake padh sakey

Hai junoon hai junoon hai
Tere ishq ka ye junoon hai
Rag rag mein ishq tera daudta
Yeh bawra sa khoon hai

Tune hi sikhaya sachai oo ka matlab
Tere paas aake jaana maine zindagi ka maksad
Satyamev, satyamev, satyamev jayate
Sacha hai pyaar tera, satyamev jayate

Tere noor ke dastoor mein
Na ho salwatein na shikan rahe
Meri koshishein toh hai bas yaheen
Rahein khushbooein gulshan rahe

Teri zulf suljhaney chala
Terey aur paas aaney chala
Jahan koi sur na ho besura
Woh geet main ganey chala

Tere rang aisa chadh gaya
Tha nasha jo aur bhi badh gaya
Teri barishon ka karam hai ye
Main nikhar Gaya main sanwar gaya

Jaisa bhi hoon apna mujhey
Mujhey ye nahin hain bolna
Kabil tere main ban sakoo
Mujhey dwaar aisa kholna

Sanson ki iss raftaar ko
Dhadkan ke iss tyohaar ko
Har jeet ko har haar ko
Khud apney iss sansaar ko
Badloonga main tere liye

Mujhey khud ko bhi hai tatolna
Kahin hai kami to hai bolna
Khahin dag hain toh chupayein kyon
Hum sach se nazrein hatayein kyon

khud ko badalna hai agar
Badloonga main tere liye
Sholon pe chalna hai agar
Chal doonga main tere liye

Mere khoon kee har boond main
Sankalp ho tere pyaar ka
Kato mujhey to too bahe
Ho surkh rang har dharrrr ka

Classy Advertisements Build Brands

Giant organisations are known to spend a lot of money on building their brands. And is there a better way than a 30 second commercial showcased on prime time TV to build your brand?

If you watch any average TV program spanning 30 minutes, you would see a myriad of ads. But only a very few break ice with your heart. And this blog post is aimed to look at those few ads who caught my attention in the last one year or so.
Classy Advertisement Build Brands
The contribution of these ads to build the brand is phenomenal.

Each of these ads are classy and stylish. Needless to say, each of them is brimming with a message. Let's take a look, possibly in the order they were released.

The first one is from Airtel - Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai.

With a foot tapping number and a raw college environment as a backup, this ad made a connect with the student community. As for those who had passed out of college, this ad reminded them of the carefree college days. And for the youngsters who are still in school, it set their dreams alight about the joyous days to look ahead.

This advertisement was a big hit. Airtel always manages to come up with one great ad after another.

The next one was from Idea promoting it's 3G services. Once again, it had an interesting voice over and some nice realistic video.

This ad seemed to be inspired from this particular section from the book SuperFreakonomics.

~~
Rural Indian families who got cable TV began to have a lower birthrate than families without TV. (In a country like India, a lower birthrate generally means more autonomy for women and fewer health risks.)

Families with TV were also more likely to keep their daughters in school, which suggests that girls were seen as more valuable, or at least deserving of equal treatment. (The enrollment rate for boys, notably, didn’t change.).

It appears that cable TV really did empower the women of rural India, even to the point of no longer tolerating domestic abuse. Or maybe their husbands were just too busy watching cricket.
~~

And yes, if TV can play the role as mentioned above, why not 3G? On a side note, if you are interested in behavioral economics, you should read Freakonomics and top it up later with SuperFreakonomics

Next one is Hum Main Hai Hero from Hero.

Hero Honda had changed its brand name and was rechristened as Hero Motors. And this ad reminded people of the brand. And with AR Rahman giving excellent music, this ad promised a lot of brand recall value.

And today, I saw a song on TV wherein people across India sing a part of this ad. This reemphasized the connect established by the ad. It was this song which prompted me to write this blog post.

Finally, you have Umeedon Vali Dhoop Sunshine Vali Asha from Coca Cola. This wonderful ad was released to mark the beginning of the new year 2012.

Featuring young innocent kids, a lovely song, and some interesting real data, this ad is a mark of hope and success.

All these wonderful ads have made for an interesting experience while watching TV, be it during the boring news or the crunch time during the Cricket World Cup.

The organisations would be spending millions of rupees each time the commercial is aired. However, they can be contended with the fact that their ads have paid off. And paid off in style.

Lastly, it would be most important to recognise the creativity of the people involved in the creation of these ads. Hats off to you guys. Keep up with the good work.

Hairstyles

Audrey Hepburn once said - "The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides."

It was this quote which ran through my mind yesterday when I watched a movie featuring Indian actress Priyanka Chopra. Snapped at a fundraiser in the movie, Priyanka Chopra is elegance personified courtesy her eyes and her hairstyle.

Priyanka Chopra Hairstyle Don2
Her fans are debating over the backless dress she wears in the same scene. In my opinion, it is her hairstyle which maker her a winner.

Well, we all hope to learn something new everyday. And I learned a new term today, the Beehive Hairstyle. Supposedly, it is the hairstyle of the year 2011. Featured below is Jessica Alba in a Beehive Hairstyle.

Jessica Alba Beehive Hairstyle
The name of the hairstyle is quite obvious. It is an attractive dressing option for a lady blessed with long hair. Salma Hayek too does justice to this Beehive Hairstyle.
Salma Hayek Beehive Hairstyle
Khalil Gibran, the noted Lebanese poet once commented - "And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair."

It is as if this quote was written with Kate Middleton in mind. Her long wavy hairstyle, with wind fluttering through her tresses, makes her look absolutely stylish.
Kate Middleton Long Wavy Hair
Same is the case with Katie Holmes. She is one lady who can carry any hairstyle with an aura of elegance. And she always crowns it up with a perfect smile.
Katie Holmes Side Swept Bangs Hairstyle
Featured above is Katie Holmes in a Side Swept Bangs Hairstyle. Don't her eyes look sparkling?

It was Rihanna who said "When I cut my hair, the whole sound changed, my style changed.". Maybe this is what prompted Katie to cut her hair and go in for a Short Bob Hairstyle.
Katie Holmes Bob Hairstyle
The snap would make you wonder whether its the same lady in the last two pictures. This is the power of a hairstyle change. It makes you look different and attractive.

That's why Hillary Clinton said “If I want to knock a story off the front page, I just change my hairstyle.”

And coming to short hair, I don't think anyone can beat Keira Knightley in her Pixie Cut hairstyle. Boyish hair, crumpled looks and a bewitching smile makes Kiera a show stopper.
Keira Knightley Pixie Cut Hairstyle
And lo and behold, she is the same Kiera below in a classy Tousled Short Cut Hairstyle. Doesn't she have a flair for short hair?

Keira Knightley Tousled Short Cut  Hairstyle
Who ever said that short hair is not attractive? If some one said so, Keira is all set to prove them wrong.

And if we are discussing about short hair, one actress which would come right on the top of your mind is Bond Girl Halle Berry.

Halle Berry Short Hairstyle
This short hairstyle is Halle's signature style and is often considered to make her look younger.

How can we forget Emma Watson? All of 21 years, this short hair cut suits the petite lady perfectly.

Emma Watson Short Hairstyle
Someone once said - "The hair is the richest ornament of women." You would not disagree considering this picture of Anushka Shetty, an Indian actress, featuring in a Layered Hairstyle with Bangs.

Attired to please herself: no gems of any kind
She wore, nor aught of borrowed gloss in Nature's stead;
And, then her long, loose hair flung round her head
Fell carelessly behind.

~~ Publius Terentius Afer

Doesn't she look like a careless beauty? Dressing in simple clothes, its her hair which her a million dollar lady.

Then you have another princess, Princess Charlene of Monaco decked in a curled hairstyle. Undoubtedly, she does justice to her title  Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco.

And if you are wondering which is the next hairstyle, it's titled the Updo Hairstyle. Most suited for formal occasions, the hairstyle gives a swish look.

Ashley Greene Updo Hairstyle
Jessica Alba Updo Hairstyle
Be is Ashley Greene of Twilight fame or Jessica Alba, both of them look extremely alluring in this lovely hairstyle. And yes, if you have an attractive earring to wear, this hairstyle enables you to cast a spotlight on them.

"I like to be edgy, I like to be different. I`m a little bit of rebel". Well, this is what singer Christina Aguilera once commented. If there is one hairstyle which reflects a rebel, its a Mullet hairstyle.

Scarlett Johansson Mullet Hairstyle
Here we have Scarlett Johannson in a brashly raw mullet hairstyle. This hairstyle is very much popular in Russia and Eastern Europe. It reflects a perfect rebel.

The Roman author Publilius Syrus once said - "Even a single hair casts its shadow." Well, Yes. And when these endearing ladies are blessed with a lot of it, they are bound to mesmerise with their Attractive Hairstyles.

Chikni Chameli And It's Lessons

Before I give some gyan (a.k.a knowledge), let me share a a demonstration.

This video, right below, is the making of a song - Chikni Chameli - from an upcoming Indian movie Agneepath.

The next video is the final result or final product

Tagged and promoted as an item number, this song has set the heart beats racing across the country. You would not disagree. Starring Katrina Kaif, this song promises to set the silver screen on fire. This song is available for download by clicking on the YouTube button.

Chikni Chameli Katrina Kaif
This song seals Katrina Kaif's top position as an Item Number Girl. From Sheila Ki Jawaani to Chikni Chameli, she has come a long way. Any investment in Katrina for an item song is bound to fetch attractive returns.

Chikni Chameli Katrina Kaif Agneepath
Consider her vis-à-vis her compatriot Mallaika Arora. After her successful Munni Badanam Hui, she hasn't done an item number. And Katrina has gone miles ahead in this space.

It would surprise you that the song has been sung by none other than Shreya Ghoshal. Shreya Ghoshal, till now, has been known for her soulful songs. This song is bound to change that impression.

She has given her superb attractive voice to this song and has perfectly complemented Katrina in her dance steps. Sunidhi Chauhan and her likes have some serious competition.

Shreya Ghoshal - Singer of Chikni Chameli
What do we learn out of this Chikni Chameli song?
  • Do business.  Never shy away from business. It will fetch you returns. (Role Model - Katrina Kaif)
  • Explore and challenge yourself. You can far exceed your own expectations. And come out with flying colors. ( Role Model - Shreya Ghoshal)
  • Prepare, Practice and Persevere. Products and Success stories are not built in a day. ( Role Model - The Song Chikni Chameli)
Enough of this global gyan. If Chikni Chameli is still playing on your mind, just hit the replay button.

Why This Kolaveri Di?

Why this Kolaveri Kolaveri Kolaveri Di?

Well, if you haven't caught onto the Kolaveri bandwagon, it is time. Since it debut on the internet on the 16th of Nov 2011, this song has gone viral and has earned numerous followers.

Why This Kolaveri Di?
What is this song all about? This is a song which discusses about the murderous rage of a girl.

This Tamil-English song, supported by excellent music and different lyrics, has taken the web by storm. It is trending on YouTube. It was trending on Twitter. This song was seen as a strong competition and threat to Lady Gaga. Most importantly, it has bought the South Indian film industry into limelight and has been widely appreciated by folks across India.

This is a song about failed love. However, this song has also reflected the mood of the moment across the world.

The entire world is in a murderous rage. (Well, Kolaveri means Murderous Rage).

Anna Harare (the premier social crusader in India) is on fire, pursuing the Indian Government ruthlessly for the Jan Lokpal Bill. All that Manmohan and his team can say is - Why this Kolaveri Da (Di is babe or lady, and Da is male for Di )?

The Indian citizens are "Anxious To Kill" (This was described as the meaning of Kolaveri by my friend).

In a span of less than 4 days, a single man has slapped two high profile politicians. And like I heard on the news hour tonight, they have been slapped a million times with the videos being replayed continuously on TV.

Next times the politicians will step out, they will be accompanied by bodyguards and a MP3 player playing - Why this Kolaveri?

Dhanush Shruti Hassan Why This Kolaveri Di?
The inflation is on fire, and the prices of commodities (petrol included) are shooting through the roof. All that the common man can say against these prices is - Why this Kolaveri?

The Libyans are in a murderous rage. They have bought down the Gaddafi regime, killed Muammar Gaddafi himself and captured his son Saif. The Egyptians removed their ex President Hosni Mubarak from power, and are now gunning against the army to install a civilian government

The only thing that the military rulers can say - flummoxed by the attitude of the civilians - Why this Kolaveri?

The Why This Kolaveri Di Team
The list is endless. Singer Dhanush and his team have aptly captured the mood of the moment in this lovely song, making it a huge hit. Catch it right below.

It would be most worthwhile to note that this song is from the debut movie of music composer Anirudh Ravichander, all of 21 years. I just hope and pray that he gives excellent music in the coming years. As for Aishwarya Rajnikanth, Dhanush's better half, this is her directorial debut. The film "3" stars Dhanush himself and Shruti Hassan, and is all set to become a mega hit.

Well, next time someone is in an angry mood or a murderous rage directed towards you, you know what to say - Why this Kolaveri Kolaveri Kolaveri Di?

P.S. I will be downloading it into my MP3 tonight. And playing it in replay for the next few days!!

When Shuffle Really Works

MP3 shuffle works - but you love it the most when it plays some great melodies - back to back. After all, who would not love a personal jockey - who dishes out the best songs - one after another.

Well, after a long long time - my MP3 player (who also works as my cell phone, and my offline blog notebook) - played out some good surprsies.

The first one was Bas Ek Pal - from the movie with the same title.

The song is a bit sad - but has great music and some awesome lines.

I like these the most.

Sunaah hain Mohabbath ki Thakdeer mein,
Likhein hain andherein Ghanee,
Thabi aaj Shayad Sitare Sabi,
Zara saahi roshan hue...
Mere haath ki in Lakeeron mein
Likhe abhi aur kithne... sitam,
Khafaa Ho gayein hain kushi
Waqt sey ho rahein hain meherbaan gam

The next one was from an album - Relax, Take It Easy.

What more can I say?Just relax and take it easy. There is an answer to the darkest times.

And last but not the least, one of my all time favorites - Dil Chahta Hai.

Often I find myself echoing the thoughts of the next four lines.
Kaisa Ajab Yeh Safar Hai,
Socho To Har Ik Hi Bekhabar Hai
Usko Jaana Kidhar Hai,
Jo Waqt Aaye, Jaane Kya Dikhaaye

Great music never fails to uplift a sagging spirit!!

Sarararara

Once in a while, you have a song which you like immensely. Half an year back, it was Mora Piya from Rajneeti for me.

And today I caught onto this song - Sarararara - from the movie Yeh Saali Zindagi.

The lines of this song are simply amazing - they echo "life" so nicely.

=
Kuch deke chalti woh, sab leke chalti woh
Hai dum toh rok usse, balkhaake chalti woh
Sarararara, zindagi nikal chali
Sarararara, haathon se fisal chali sararara
==

Or were they meant for this pretty actress (read Aditi Rao Hydari) in the movie?

Catch a small video of this song right below

And the entire lyrics too.

Sarara sarara sararara
Sarararara, zindagi nikal chali
Sarararara, haathon se fisal chali sararara

Hey behla ke chalti woh, phusla ke chalti woh

Kanya karaari si, itra ke chalti woh

Kuch dekhe chalti woh

Sab leke chalti woh
Hai dum toh rok usse
Bal kha ke chaldi woh

Mara mara mara ..

Girta na har tu toh mara mara

Arrey sarararara, zindagi nikal chali sararara

Khwaabon ki jootar hai, yaadon ki payal hai

Zindagi husn tera hum tere kayal hain
Aaja na reham tera humpe barsa ja
Sarara sarara ..

Aaja na jhalak teri humko dikhlaja
Teri raahon mein bhich jaaye bas tere nagme kayi
Aaja na aaja na aaja aaja aa
Tumpe apna bhi haq hai, apna haq leke jaaye
Behla ke chalti woh, phusla ke chalti woh
Kanya karaari si, balkha ke chalti woh

Sarararara, zindagi nikal chali

Sarararara, haathon se fisal chali sararara

Sa sa sa ra ra ra ..

Hey hum chalte hum rukte, sab teri hi marzi hai

Jeenay ki chaahat ho, kehde kyun khudgarzi hai
Aaja na noor tera humpe barsa ja
Sarara sarara ..

Tu koi noor nahin, tohdi narmi toh la
Tu agar zid pe atki hai hum bhi na gabhraaye
Aaja na aaja na aaja aaja aa
Chori karna bhi ik fun hai
Apna fun na aazmaaye

Kuch deke chalti woh, sab leke chalti woh
Hai dum toh rok usse, balkhaake chalti woh
Sa sa sa ra ra ra ..
Sarararara, haathon se fisal chali sararara

Khwaabon ki jootar hai, yaadon ki payal hai

Zindagi husn tera hum tere kayal hain
Aaja na reham tera humpe barsa ja
Sarara sarara ..

Aaja na jhalak teri humko dikhlaja
Teri raahon mein bhich jaaye bas tere nagme kayi
Aaja na aaja na aaja aaja aa
Tumpe apna bhi haq hai, apna haq leke jaaye
Kuch deke chalti woh, sab leke chalti woh
Hai dum toh rok usse, balkhaake chalti woh

Sarararara, zindagi nikal chali

Sarararara, haathon se fisal chali sararara
Sarara sarara ..

This movie also stars one of my favorite stars - Chitrangada.

Chitrangada Singh

"Ohh My God!!!".

This is what I said when I looked at this picture of hers less than 24 hours back.

She is none other than Chitrangada Singh.

I was reading a new article which had her interview. It said - her name meant - someone with unique features. I wouldn't disagree.

All of 34 years, the Indian actress has been on silver screen for the last 8 years. Yet she has acted in just 5 films.

Six years back, she made a stunning debut in the film - Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (A Thousand Such Wishes). Her role as Geeta Rao received widespread appreciation.

In this movie, she didn't dress up in alluring clothes. Or didn't have any enticing make up. Yet, I found her amazingly attractive.

A month back, I wrote about Attraction. And contemplated why someone is attracted towards someone.

It's very difficult to say why someone is attracted to someone. And Chitrangada is that someone for me.

After 2005, Chitrangada took a hiatus from making movies.

And when she made her comeback in 2008, starring in Sorry Bhai, I made a beeline to watch her movie on the first weekend.

And then she disappeared again. Only to come back again in 2011.

Starring in Yeh Saali Zindagi, she is making waves again.

So what is it about Chitrangada which makes her so enamoring, so tempting, so alluring, so charismatic??

Is it her eyes - which makes you drown in them??

Or is it her dusky looks, coupled with a messy hairstyle which gives her that desirable look?

Or is it her oomph factor - elegantly conveyed in the snap below - which would give the super models a run for their money?

Or her cute smile?

Or is it simply her elegance?

Keep thinking. And let me know if you are attracted towards her.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

He is back. Harry Potter is back.

With "You Know Who" a.k.a "He Who Must Not Be Named", you have Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Severus Snape making a comeback on the silver screen after a long gap one and a half years.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Movie Poster

Just a week back, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows opened to the audiences in the U.K. The prime Harry Potter cast - Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint - were the center of attraction on the red carpet.

And yesterday, it has made an opening in India.

Harry Potter Cast

A lot has changed in this last year and a half.

In the past decade, people have taken a liking for fantasies. - be it Harry Potter or the Chronicles of Narnia. It helps ordinary men and women, like you and me, to escape the harsh realities of the real world.

After all, who wouldn't like a world where you could get anything that you would desire with a flick of a wand.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Movie
And this is what made Harry Potter a phenomenon.

Since 1997, after the release of the book - Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone, and subsequently with its immensely popular movie series, Harry and his gang has been heroes in the world of fantasies.

But off late they are facing stiff, very stiff, competition from Bella Swan and Edward Cullen - courtesy the Twilight Saga.

But with the kind of hoopla surrounding The Deathly Hallows, you can  safely consider that the Harry Potter magic is much alive and kicking.

This movie promises to be the darkest of the series. After all, it is a culmination of the battle between Good and Evil, and between Harry and Lord Voldemort.

Harry Potter Movie Poster
Harry's mentor - Albus Dumbledore - died in the closing parts of the The Half Blood Prince.

With this, in The Deathly Hallows, you have Harry with his limited group of friends - Hermione, Ron, the Professors at Hogwarts and The Order Of The Phoenix - trying to find the elusive horcruxes, in an effort to destroy The Dark Lord.

The movie starts with the dramatic escape of Harry with the seven Potters. And later, it is battle all the way - between the Death Eaters and Harry and team.

The Death Eaters

You will also have Harry romancing Ginny - in one of the few simple yet  intense moments of the movie.

Harry Ginny

And Ron and Hermione sharing some quiet and intimate moments in the dark and trying times.

Ron Hermione

And if you are planning to catch the movie, here is the spectacular trailer.

It has been a long and a fruitful journey for the three stars in the past decade.

Ten years back, they were kids, fighting the Dark Forces.

Emma Daniel Rupert

Today, they are super stars in the world of cinema.

Emma Daniel Rupert
Go ahead and enjoy the movie.

One thing is for sure. The die hard Harry Potter fans would definitely be looking forward to July 2011 - when the final edition of The Deathly Hallows and  it's battle royale is rolled out in the theaters.

Tees Maar Khan

Diwali is considered to be one of the most auspicious occasions to wish and hope for the success of any activity in India.

And on this Diwali, considering this very fact, the maker's of the movie "Tees Maar Khan" decided to launch its movie promos and trailers across India today.

I have been on leave for this entire week. Watching songs on television was the most common pass time, considering my love for music.

But today, the new trailers from this movie were a welcome change. And needless to say, they were immensely attractive.

Although it would be extremely difficult to list down at least "Tees" (Thirty) reasons to watch this movie, a feeble attempt can be made to list at least a few.

Here goes the list.

Right at the top, the movie looks to be a perfect Bollywood masala movie. The dialogs looks witty and the cast is attractive.

It seems to have adequate support characters which help in propping up any Bollywood movie. And lastly, it should definitely have some nicely shot songs.

Second reason is the plot itself. The exploits of a conman have thrilled many a generations.

Add some fun, some thrill, some excitement, some messy situations to this plot, and you have an winning theme. The last such movie which made a immense mark was "Oye Lucky.. Lucky Oye" starring Abhay Deol.

Next comes the director - Farah Khan. I would say, she has made an effective transition from being a choreographer to a director.

This is just her third film in the last seven years - which indicates that she must be putting a lot of thought before starting on any new venture. Her last two movies were excellent commercial success stories.

"Main Hoon Na" was released way back in 2004, when I was still a college student. It was considered to be good entertainer, alothough some people might disagee. And "Om Shanti Om" managed to keep me intrigued for three hours when I was alone in a foreign land.

Coming next is the USP of the movie - the lead star - Akshay Kumar. From the trailers, he seems to have played the role of the conman perfectly - with his timely dialog delivery and excellent acting.

He has already made his mark in some comic roles earlier. And people must be looking forward to this witty role.

And if Akshay Kumar is around, how can Katrina Kaif be behind? She will be romancing Akshay in this movie.

And most likely, she will be his crime partner and will be assisting him in his "not-so-good" con jobs. One thing is for sure - she will be setting the silver screen on fire with her alluring dances and enticing looks.

Next comes Akshay "Eclipse" Khanna.

He makes appearances in movies with such rarity that it would give the humble solar and lunar eclipses a complex. But if you are a fan of Akshay Khanna, then you would rush to the nearest theatre to have a look at him.

Then you also have Salman Khan, who has taken a cue from his sister-in-law Mallaika Arora Khan, and has worked on an item song in this movie.

What would be your take on Munna Badnaam Hua??

And finally, considering Shahrukh Khan's friendship with the director, you can have King Khan in a hush-hush secret role.

These seem to be the few reasons why the movie should generate enough attention in run up to its release on 24th Dec 2010.

That brings, to my mind, another reason for watching this movie. For the last two years, movies released on the Christmas weekends - "Ghazini" in 2008, and "Three Idiots" in 2009 - have been mega blockbusters.

Will "Tees Maar Khan" keep up that tradition? Only time will tell.

And only time will tell whether I get the oppurtunity to watch this movie on that weekend.

Until then, we can have the songs for our company. Catch some of them right below as you wait in anticipation.

The first one is the overall promo for the movie.

This one is the almost the title song of the movie.

And then finally you have the hit item number - Sheila Ki Jawani. Katrina Kaif is bound to set the silver screen on fire with this rocking dance.

Sunidhi Chauhan has given her voice to this song. And I can't thing of any other Indian lady singer who would have done better justice to this titillating number.
