So over the weekend I ended up heading over to the mall to see if there was any sales, and I also needed a few things for work, I went into Zara and noticed that almost their whole store was on sale... SCORE! Zara is one of my most absolute favorite stores to shop for work clothes. I ended up trying on a few things. I got this knee length black skirt that was on sale for $29.99 origial price was $89.99 I think.

This skirt is super pretty. It's stretchy material so it hugs my body nicely (a tiny bit tight, but the girl in the store told me this skirt will stretch out over time so it was the perfect size for me. It has beautiful gold zippers on the sides and back. The zipper is actually in the front, and the pockets are in the back just like jean pockets would be. It's such a super cute skirt and I just couldn't say no to the price either. Everyone needs a couple of black skirts in their wardrobe!
I ended up pairing it with this mint green top. The top was only $10, but I ended up saying no to it because the material was a little cheap and it was just a tad seethrough. I'm not a huge fan of scrunchy sleeves (just becuase my arms are natually a little more muscular and I didn't want to accentuate that feature on me), so I passed on it. I do however, LOVE the mint green with this skirt, and in general. I am noticing that a lot of pastels are becoming the "in" thing for 2012, so if I can find another flattering mint green top... I'm all in for it! I also really like the neckline of this shirt also. Dang... I wish it wasn't see through and scrunchy :(
Here is a top that I really liked. Yes.. it was a little see through.. lol, but I could easily wear it with a little cami underneth, I just didn't have one at that time. I ended up passing on this shirt as well. This was one of those items that wasn't on sale, and since I am strictly looking for work attire and I'm on a budget, I just couldn't justify it. It definitely is a super cute piece. Just nice and casual :)
I picked up some new thongs from Victoria's Secret, and they were offering a deal.. Spend $75 and we will give you this duffle bag for FREE! Ummmm.. I'm pretty sure I jumped on that bandwagon. I got a few thongs and a sleep shirt and this lovely bag! Thinking I may use this as either a gym bag, or an overnight bag, not sure yet.
Unfortunatley I had to return the sleep shirt, it didn't fit me well, so I returned it, but they let me keep the bag so I was super happy about that. Watch out for those deals, VS has great bags with good quality, and this bag was a $75 value, plus it's super girlie too!
