I wanted to share some
stat-of-the-art buys from my beloved store, Forever 21. I don't get to shop here often because I don't really live all the close to one. BF and I were visiting his new baby cousin, so since there was a F21 near them, we thought we would stop in becasue I have been eyeing a couple of items and wanted to see what they were like in person. BF also really loves this store because the men's clothing fits him really well.
First off...Do you ever find that you absolutely LOVE an item online but when you get it, it sucks galore??? I find that so much of the time that I have stopped buying online. The sizes are always wrong, the colors are not what they are in the pic...Maybe I have just had some awful experiences.
Ok. So I'm not very good at doing the modelling of clothes, so I took these pics infront of a mirror with my iphone with kind of messy hair...LOL.. OH...and you guys can see my air brush tan. Sorry I couldn't get pics when I first got it done, my camera has been acting up lately. By the time it started working, my tan already kind of settled in.
The
Pink TopThis pink top is adorable. I should've taken pics from the back as well, but found it difficult to do myself..LOL.. This is like a babydoll top. It kind of flares out and ties at the back. It has crochet design on the front which is so pretty!!! hello love?? P.S puppy is in the back ripping up a receipt.. looks like I'm keeping all these clothes. haha
The
Purple Top This purple top above is beyond cute. It is a little see through, so I think I'm going to have to wear a little tank underneath, but oh my gosh... is this top ever precious!!! It has little bows all over it and is the girliest of tops... The neckline is gorgeous. It has a tiny bit of ruffles and is super comfy. I love the little bit of flare. Cute-ness!
The
Rainbow TopOk. So I am telling you that I am the worst photographer ever!!! I left the strings hanging on the side. I'm a goofball.. sorry everyone! This rainbow top is tres lovely!! I really really love this one because it has such fun colors. It's also a little see through so I'm going to have to put a tank underneath as well, but it's beautiful. It poofs a bit on the bustline, so it helps puff up those boobies a little...lol.. I love this, it's so cute and flow-y for summer.
The
Pink Ruffle DressI LOVE this dress. I had to buy it!!! I saw this online and fell in love. They also have a blue one that is so pretty but they didn't have it there so I got the pink one. This dress is a tad big for me, plus my hair is totally hiding the spagetti straps. I usually take small but they didn't have any left, so I got a medium. I can work with it because with the ruffles up top, it kind of lets the dress poof a little, which is ok. Some clothing items I actually enjoy to wear a size bigger if it allows me. I don't like fun, summer dresses to be tight, I like a little flow to it. This is beautiful. I can just see this dress with a cute pair of wedges and some fun jewellery. Oh..I also bought a little bracelet that I'm wearing in the pics, but you can't really see.
The
Purple Flow-y DressI guess my theme is pink and purple...lol.. This dress is also super sweet. I really loved the color of this dress. It looks different in this pic, but it's a dusty light purple color and I loved the mesh throughout the dress. It's super fun for summer and I love the tie up in the front. I'm really happy with this buy and I also think this would be fun with some dangly earrings and some fun wedges.
The Green Dragon Dress
Ok. I HAVE to admit. I totally
LOVED LOVED loved this dress after I read Veronika's post from Veronika's Blushing. We were at Zara in the mall and I saw it on the mannequin and remembered that she had talked about it. I tried it on and totally fell in love so I bought it. I have a wedding to go to soon so I wanted something new and fun to wear. BF calls this the
dragon dress because it is green (even though it looks blue here) and kind of has a tail-y thing to it. Anyhow, I really love this and have to thank Veronika's post for totally influencing me.. It really is, gorgeous!
Here is the back of the dress. Isn't it beautiful? I will probably wear this with my white heels, along with my tiffany key necklace and some bangles and diamond-y earrings. Yes, I left the price tag on because I don't know what I'm doing..haha
Anyhow, hope you enjoyed my buys. Since F21 and Zara had some amazing deals going on, everything was very affordable and I stayed within my budget...YAY!!!
