So now that I've reached the dreadful year of turning 29. I'm starting to worry about my skin. I have STOPPED all tanning use in the tanning salons. It is awful for your skin.. sorry tanners, but it is. I wish that I stopped using tanning beds back in my early 20s because now that I'm 29, I'm already starting to see the first signs of fine lines and wrinkles... eeeeeekkksss times a million!
I was out getting my hair done this past saturday and I thought I would head next door to The Facial Place Spa. I have loved the tinted moisturizer from the Puran line, so I asked the receptionist what she recommended. Seriously, this girl has the most glow-y skin ever. Plus she knows me over the years so she knew exactly what I wanted.
I told her I still have some moisturizer left to use and I wanted something that would even out my skin and make my skin smoother, also to allow my make-up to melt into my skin, rather than having it look all cake-y and disgusting. My make-up and skin need better bonding time...LOL
Anyhow, she recommended this product.. again from Biodroga
She said that this would be a good starting product. Here is a little burb of what it is:
Biodroga Face Pre Care w/AHA Description
Exceptional facial care with Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). High-concentration AHA obtained from sugar cane diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and helps reduce age spots. Simultaneously, AHA can improve skin texture and increase skin moisture levels. Result: skin gains elasticity, looks firmer, younger and significantly refined.
I've been using it since sunday so I've noticed a bit of smoothing so far, but I'm going to give it a good month before I accept or reject this product. You are supposed to use it morning and night under your moisturizer.. and not under the eye area because of the Alpha Hydroxy Acid.
So we will see...
HEALTH ALERT: I'm decreasing the amount of coffee intake each day now. I only allow myself one cup of coffee in the morning, then I indulge in green tea for the rest of the day. I'm trying to hard to like water (I love pop and juice) so I'm also trying to give water more of a chance because it's so healthy for your body. I am also trying to take vitamins each day now. Lots of B vitamins for hair and skin, but also a multi-vitamin for a little bit of everything! Oh.. and also trying to get a good nights sleep.. trying for at least 7 hours, hoping to train my body to want 8.. I think with 8 I will feel more re-freshed.
I hate getting old.. Sometimes I wish I was young again and full of countless energy... ahhhhhh! Speaking of energy, I'm on nights again this week, so I'm headed to grannyville for an afternoon nap.. love it! maybe there are positives to getting older.
Happy rest of the day luvies!
