Naked Shadows

Hey everyone!

Last weekend I thought I would try out some of the colors from the Naked Palette I got awhile ago. I usually ALWAYS use M.A.C shadows but I found that I wasn't reaching for my Naked Palette (the 1st one). I hate seeing things go to waste, so I made a pact that I would always wear my shadows from the Palette on the weekends, that way I can mix and match different colors together and not have to worry about going into work looking too done up!

I usually like brown, grey and purple-y shades. I'm not too into the bright colors, so what attracted me to the Naked Palette, was the different shades of neutrals.

Here is how my eye shadow turned out...

The colors that I used was Virgin and Buck. What I did was apply Urban Decay's primer potion over my lids. Then I dusted the color Virgin all over my lid, brow bone and inner corners of my eyes. Finally, I took a crease brush and applied the color Buck to the crease. I started in the middle and worked my way outwards so that the majority of the color was on the outer part of my crease. I always like to keep my inner corners of the eye as bright as I can so that it gives the illusion of opening up the eye and looking more awake. Then, with whatever was left over, I blended the two colors together. Really... quite simple!

Next weekend I will have to experiment with some different shades. Does anyone have any good combos with the Naked Palette? If so, comment below and tell me.

Have a great day!
