So after my recent post I did on letting my hair just BE... I wanted to share a discovery on an amazing dry shampoo that's super inexpensive, but has amazing results! I haven't really heard much about it before, but it's called Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo...
This my friends... has gone above and beyond my expectations on dry shampoo. I have used several dry shampoos that claim to revive limp, greasy hair, but after using all of them, I have been completely turned off of all dry shampoo. I always found my hair with so much buildup, disgusting, and really really tangled. This Batiste dry shampoo actually makes my hair feel fresh, clean and full of body again like I just washed it. I'm already on 5th day hair and could probably go another couple of days becuase this product is just THAT GOOD!
Usually my hair gets super greasy by the 3rd day, sometimes even the 2nd if I have a lot of product in my hair or I have been using any oils etc. What I do, is shake up the dry shampoo bottle, tilt my head downward and spray my part, my crown, the hairline around my face and underneath lightly. You may think you are using a lot, but you only need to spray lightly once. You will notice a difference immediately. If you need more, just spritz where your hair is most greasy. No need to spray your whole head unless you want a full on washing.
I usually spray the dry shampoo on my hair before bed. It doesn't get on my pillowcase or anything. It also has a nice scent, so it gets rid of that gross bed head smell..... ewwww, so disgust!
In the morning, just brush your hair, style as usual and go. You won't get any white-ness like baby powder, but if you do, just brush it out.
Like I have said, I have tried so many dry shampoos... btw Tresemme dry shampoo is the WORST! don't spend your money on that. It's probably the worst dry shampoo I have ever tried.... terrible!
The only thing that is a downfall with this product, is since I'm on 5th day hair (which looks fabulous and still clean), if you keep using the dry shampoo day after day and day, expect it to start getting minor buildup.. That's just what happens with any product, so that just means that it's finally time to actually wash your hair.. that's all! The bottle costed me about $6.99 canadian funds, so if you're in the states, it's probably even cheaper. The can is a decent size too!
