2012: A Little EDGE with Worker Style Boots

Happy New Year!

Yes... yes I know.. I haven't posted in who only knows how long... sorry luvies! I seriously have just wanted to enjoy my vacation since before Christmas.. but everyday was go go go, and by the time I got to relax, I fell asleep almost instantly.. I have to admit though, it was nice!

Over the holidays it was so nice to be off and not have to work... just enjoy time with family and friends. BF was off with me too, and oh-my-goodness was puppy ever happy we were home with him. We had a nice Christmas with both families, and New Years was of course... a blast!

Anyhow.... I am back! Oh-my-sweetness, do I ever has a crazy amount of purchases to show you that I have gotten over the holidays.

But first... I MUST show you these killer boots that I scored on sale. The original price was $200, and I got them for $59.99.

Aren't they FAB??

I was originally searching for a pair of tall brown boots with the red zipper in the back (which I am still looking for btw), but I saw these worker style kind of boot with the red zipper and awesome lining, that I just HAD to have them!

The best part about these boots is that you can wear them in a few different ways. The zipper also adjusts to the height that I want to wear them. They also have snaps on the sides so I can wear them super low, medium or tall height... LOVE!!!

I also adore the plaid on the insides. It looks killer with a pair of tights, high wool socks and a long sweater dress on. I love that these boots are super casual, but just give that polished look, a little bit of edge.

Usually I really go for things that are simple, but this year, I want to give my clean, girl-ish look, a bit of a kick. These boots will most definitely give me that look.

I bought these boots at a place in the mall by my house. It's called Flurries. I checked out the website but they don't have these boots listed. When I got them, they were the last pair in the store and to be honest, I have no idea what they are even called.

The pair of boots that I am still eyeing and will probably end up ordering online are the Madden Girl Zoiiee boots in tan.

I just LOVE the riding look with the boots. I think it's super cute, and hopefully they have it online. I think they came out with this in the spring of 2011, but I just adore this look with the cute red on the back. It just gives the boot a little something ya know??? lol

Has anyone gotten any great deals on boots, shoes etc over the holidays? If so, please share!!!

Tonight I'm headed to the gym, like most people will probably be doing (resolution?). At least it will only be crazy in the gym for a few weeks, then people will start to go back to their normal routine, and it won't be as crowded. It happens every year.. people's "get fit" resolution goes full force, then boom.. they stop. That's how so many suckers get stuck with a gym membership. If you aren't going to follow through all year long, why are you wasting your money!!!!

Speaking of the gym, I also got some cute Lululemon outfits to show you so I will post about those as well!

Lots of love,
xo
