Hey everyone!
I just wanted to do a Make up of the day post. I was standing outside waiting for the train on my way home from work Friday (soooo cold btw), and I noticed that my make up stayed so nicely, from the beginning of the day to the end. Usually I always have to touch up with powder, lip gloss etc, but I was pleasantly suprised I didn't have to do any touch ups. I think now that the colder months have arrived, my face isn't as oily, and able to hold my make up a little better!
Note: Sorry about my messy hair. The wind was blowing so I decided to go into the little waiting area on the train platform. I also manipulated the photo but ONLY in the background so that the crazy colors wouldn't show up. My face is not manipulated at all in this photo.
You can also see a little clearer how my hair turned out with the new highlights I got put in.
Also, now that it's getting cold I don't want to go too overboard with being tanned. I don't like the look of being over tanned for the colder months. I like a glow, but I don't want to look like I just came back from Mexico or anything extreme.
I didn't self tan my face and I didn't use any bronzer. I usually use NARS Laguna or Smashbox, but Smashbox is more of a summer bronzer because it's a lot darker, and I just ran out of NARS Laguna, so I have to pick up another one. Since my foundation is a little darker than my pale skin tone, I used it as more of a "bronzer" I guess, still all over my face to even it out, so it still gave me a little bit of something. However, I did focus more on my cheeks to bring out a little rosie-ness. I like the look of rosie cheeks in the colder months... not clown-ish looking, but just cute and rosie-ish..lol
Here are the products I used...
1. Laura Mercier Silk Creame Foundation in Medium Ivory
2. A mix of Bobbi Brow Peony and M.A.C Well Dressed blush
3. Mabelline Dark Eraser Circle Brightener/Concealer mixed together
4. UD Eye Primer Potion
5. UD Naked Pallette eyeshadow in Virgin (all over my lid and in my corners of my eye)
6. M.A.C eyeshadow as liner for the top and bottom of my eyes in Brun for a more natural look
7. L'Oreal Million Lashes Mascara in Black
8. M.A.C lipgloss in Baby Sparks
Anyhow, just thought I would share that with all of you...lol
Hope you are having a great day!! :)
Love always,
xo
