Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. Here in Canada, it's beyond gorgeous out!!!! There is barely any humidity, and the sun has been shining all day with little to no clouds... YAY!!!
BF and I are going out to The Keg tonight for a steak dinner. Both of us LOVE The Keg, but we only treat ourselves to it, maybe about twice a year? Special occasions only!!! We celebrated our 4 year anniversary (yes, we keep track...well I do...lol), so this is our treat and present to each other...Loves it!!!
Before I start getting ready, I wanted to show everyone my fresh, new hair color. I got it done this morning by Cayla (who I mentioned is now doing my hair and knows exactly what I want). I absolutely LOVE IT!!! It's just a tad different then I usually get. I wanted just a little more lowlight throughout my hair to break up the blonde a little. I know it's going to fade, but she said if I go just a little bit darker with the lowlight, it will probably stay better...let's HOPE!!!!
I usually REALLY love my hair about 2 weeks after it's done, and had a chance to settle down a little.
Here's a peek...
I always like to keep the front pretty blonde
What do you all think? These are the best shots I can get with natural sunlight.
The last one isn't as clear, but I wanted to show you how long my hair is getting in the back. I have been consistently taking my Vitamin E gel pills and I have totally noticed an improvement in my hair. I have also noticed that it has grown a little quicker than normal. Yes... My hair grows a little quicker in the summer, but I have been getting frequent trims and have used WAY LESS heat when styling my hair. I usually curl my hair and it lasts about 3 days with just tiny touch ups.. then up it goes in a ponytail until I wash it on the 4th day.
I have been so into curling my hair lately. I think it's because I have naturally wavy hair and I am liking the beachy look a lot! Another reason I got some more weaved in lowlights, is because I want to give some of my hair a break from the bleaching... even if it is only just strands here and there. I just needed a little change.
Next time I go or my early fall appointment, I am totally getting a more ombre look, but very subtle. My hair is naturally pretty light, so Cayla said she is going to almost just paint on the highlights... I'm excited!!!!
Anyhow, hope everyone has a rockin Saturday night.. If you can, hit up a patio for some fun beverages!!!!
Smiles...
Mel
