How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good. Friday night BF and I went over to see an old married couple we haven't seen in awhile..LOL.. just kidding! They are however, going to be celebrating their 1st anniversary very soon, so YAY to them!!! We just popped over for a few hours to see them and had a couple of drinks. It was a lot of fun and so beyond awesome to catch up with them since we haven't seen them in FOREVER!!!! Note to self: Plan more fun nights like this!!!
Saturday BF and I went shopping. He was dying to get a pair of sailing shoes (that's what he calls them). We went ALL OVER TOWN to find a pair. BF finally found a pair he loved at Brown's. The bonus, was the they were on sale for like $59.00 which was a steal, because he wanted the Steve Madden ones but they were like $100. I have to admit, I wasn't sure about them at first, but I really love them on him!!
I myself, got a couple of things that I have really wanted. First I dragged BF to Sephora. I wanted to try this shampoo from the Living Proof line that is anti-humidity and frizz free. I am almost finished my Pureology shampoo so that's why I wanted to give this a go.
I'm going to try it out today and let you know if it's a keeper or a thrower-outer...lol. It's also sulphate-free which totally sold me because I am only trying to use sulphate-free shampoos from now on. I have noticed a huge difference in my hair since I have been using those shampoos compared to normal ones. I didn't get the conditioner because I already have like a thousand conditioners at home and I need to use them up first.
I was also out of my NARS Albatross highlighter, so I picked up another one of those.
The NARS highlighter has always been my favorite and I highly recommend it to everyone out there. NARS also has a trio of my FAVORITE products. It has the "Laguna Bronzer", "Albatross Highlighter" and "Orgasm" blush, which area ALL favs and CLW's of mine. I opted not to get that package because I already have so much left of the Laguna and Orgasm that I thought I would wait on it and maybe ask for it for my christmas wishlist or something ;)
Next, BF and I went to Forever 21. He picked up a really nice light sweater type pullover. It looks amazing on him. The men's clothes there really fit him nicely, so whenever we get to make a special trip out to F21, we like to take our sweet time in there. I love that it's so cheap!!!
I didn't really see any clothes that struch my attention, but I did end up getting my wide-brimmed hat that I wanted. It was $6 which was incredible. I wanted a big hat for the beach, sitting outside etc. I got it in black because black goes with everything!!
I also picked up a $4 pair of dangly earrings. I thought they would look cute when I wear my hair up in the "Super Bun" or with some nice beachy waves or something like that. You can't go wrong with F21 accessories, I don't thing anything is above $6.. STEAL!!!
I also got a lip gloss for $0.99. Love it. It's so sparkly and very sheer.
I also got these really cute barretts. I love how they sparkle. I wear them when my hair is half up or just my bangs pinned over to the side. They are adorable and I HAD to have them!
My last purchase from F21 was a pair of giant sunnys. They were $5 and I love it. Seriously, my bill was under $20..It was amazing! I thought these sunnys were so cute and I LOVE giant ones.

Yesterday BF and I finally created our little garden out front. It took us hours and hours to do it, but it's all finished and looks so cute.
It looks really bare, but we are going to add some big garden rocks and little ornaments around the flowers. Also, it's all freshly created so the cedar tree and perennials we planted (which will come up each year), will expand and fill in all those gaps. This is just the beginning my friends. I will either have a green thumb, so I will be the garden killer....grrrrrrr!
All the flowers are purple, pink and white. Along the side of the house is my peony plants. One is pink and the other is white to follow theme. They will bloom next year...Love my new little garden!!! BF also wanted a cedar tree so that was his little garden donation...lol... He pretty much did ALL the planting. I needed his help...Thanks BF!! Love you to pieces!!! We also put down some black mulch, it's not in the pic, but it makes all the flowers stand out so nicely. I LOVE it!!!
I have to admit that I didn't feel well today. My head was pounding and still is. I'm getting hot and cold chills and overall, I felt so gross. I stayed in my pj's today. I took my blankets and pillow downstairs with me and puppy and I watched tv.
OH.... It's puppy's 1st birthday today!!!!
I can't believe how much he's grown. I'm not making a cake or anything for him today, but I was thinking of getting him a McDonald's hamburger or an ice cream cone. Something that he wouldn't normally get. It's his special day today so I want him to be happy! I just love that pup. He will always be my puppy, even if he's offically an adult doggie now. Look how cute he is!!!!
