Hey everyone :)
So the other day I posted about a new shampoo that I really wanted to try. It's from the Living Proof Line. It's a frizz free, humidity blocking, weightlessly hydrating & sulphate free shampoo. In other words, I have heard amazing stuff about this shampoo, so I wanted to try it out for myself.
I am so happy to report that I really LOVE this shampoo!!! Friends...you NEED to own a bottle of this! I have used it only once and instantly it was love. My hair felt so soft!!! I noticed that it didn't weigh my hair down at all and my locks felt so moistuirized too. The best part is... my hair didn't feel like a frizz ball...YAY... Fistpump!!! My brush glided through my hair nicely and all in all.. I am VERY happy with this shampoo. I will be alternating this shampoo with my beloved Pureology Hydrate shampoo (which is also a #1 shampoo)
With any shampoo these days, I only put about a quarter size amount just on my roots. I have found that by doing that, my hair is becoming healthier and healthier. I think it's because when I rinse, the shampoo naturally runs down my hair giving it a more gentle wash, rather than me rubbing the shampoo everywhere and breaking the ends. The only thing I hate with sulphate free shampoos is that sometimes it doesn't lather very well. I usually have to make sure to drench my hair with water right before I put the shampoo on.
Before I sign off on my shampoo review, one last thing that I want to mention is that I love how the volume stayed nicely in my hair throughout the day. I didn't need much product afterwards with the frizz. I was beyond happy. I mean, it wasn't crazy humid outside, but my hair usually frizzes the day I wash it, but with the Living Proof Line shampoo, it was smooth sailing...lol...
I highly recommend this shampoo. I will let you know if my mind changes over the next few weeks, but so far...me likey. P.S, I got it from Sephora and if you don't need a frizz shampoo, they also offer several others to try out as well. They even have little mini sets that you can get...adorable!
I also wanted to show you a frame that I got from Urban Barn that I finally filled up with Vegas pics of me and BF and hung up. I love how it's shapped all funky and waffle like. I am a big fan of different, geometrical kind of frames. It gives the house a little bit of character :)
P.S If you don't know what Urban Barn is, it's like a Pottery Barn but lower prices. I just LOVE that store, actually both of them. They always have such nice and FUN stuff.
Also, I'm starting to play around with my guest bedroom. I got a NEW YORK pic (we have lots of NYC pics because *blush blush....we fell in love in New York.....awwww
I'm not sure if this goes or not. What do you think? I was thinking of getting white picture frames and blowing up pics of puppy and avery in black and white. I need some suggestions. Actually this photographed really dark. The room is like a grey-ish purple. I am also looking at getting the Pier 1 Hayworth collection. Some of my fav YT gurus have it and it looks gorgeous. I love the mirrored furniture look. I really want this to be a girlie room. BF gets his own room to decorate however guy-ish he wants...lol
Anyhow, let me know what you all think? Should I keep this comforter? It's grey and white flower-y looking or should I change it? I'm a big fan of the parachute comforter and pintuck comforter. What do you think? Would these look better? The wall really photographed a lot darker. The color is like a medium grey-ish purple-ly tone. BF loves the color so I can't change it...lol... I originally wanted purple..I'm thinking that I can accessorize with lots of fun colors. Give me some suggestions!!! lol
Have a good night. The season finale of hockey is on tonight, so I'm sure BF will be cheering for Boston. He's not a fan of Vancouver unfortunately.
xoxo
