I love the weekend. I have to work today but only for a little bit then I get to enjoy the rest of the day today in the sunshine. Also, maybe a little BBQ at BF's fam's house is what I think may be on the event list tonight.
What is everyone up to this weekend? I am NOT, and I mean NOT NOT NOT going to the malls this weekend. I need to save me up some cash-a-lina until pay day next week. Since I work two part time jobs, I don't get sick time or vacation time. I have like 10 days vacation coming up from July 1st-July 10 and I don't get paid for it. So, I need to make sure my finances are in order so that I can enjoy my time off and not worry about my bills. I try to stay away from the credit cards. They are dangerous and I totally got myself into trouble when I was younger. I don't want to make that mistake again!!!
Anyhow, since the days are starting to get hotter, awesom-er and all around beautiful. I thought I would share some really fun June favorites that I am totally into right now. I have a few things on my wishlist, but I am just loving all these fun things... Take a peek!!!
I am so loving the white shorts this summer, especially the white jean shorts. They are just too adorable and go with everything!!! I just hate that instantly they get dirty..boo! I am going to pick me up a pair. I think American Eagle has them on for cheap. Kristen Cavallari rocks the white short look. Tip of the day: Must tan legs to wear white shorts... repeat... Tan before getting your white on!!!
Fun drinks!!!! I love how refreshing a nice cold, icy summer drink this time of year, alcoholic or not... ok maybe alcoholic...lol. This is the time of year to get your girlfriends over and make some yummy mixes, lay outside and gossip all day long. Garnishes are always fun too. Some of my favorite drinks are Pink Martini's, Long Island Ice Tea, Sex on the Beach, Purple Haze, Killer Koolaid, Strawberry Daquiri's, Margarittas and anything you can make in a blender.... hello yumm-ness!!!
A girl always has to have her cute flip flops for summer!!! I absolutely adore a cute pair of flips.. I love any kind of flower or bow on the top too. It just makes it that much more super cute, don't ya think??? me like lots.... I also love fun colors. You can always mix and match and color flip and spice up your wardrobe. Flips are mostly super cheap too!
So I'm loving everything in Carrie Underwood's look in the pic above. She has such sparkle taste (my new phrase..lol). I love layering, I love jean shorts, I love those sunny's, and I love the simplicity of this look. Gorgeous!
I also love the look of these glitter flats. They are just precious galore and I want them.. enough said!!

Chocolate protein shakes!! I have one every morning for breakfast. One shake usually lasts me until lunch. I really love any kind of plain chocolate protein powder this month. My next order will probably be something different as I tend to get sick of the same stuff quickly. I mix it with a tiny bit of milk and the rest water. I also have a shaker cup that does the mixing perfectly :)
Last but not least, I need a sweet..
When I give myself a chance to indulge, I am really loving cute little cupcakes this month, especially the bite size ones. I love any kind of pink frosting, and maybe a sprinkle or two? My fav this month are vanilla. Ohhhh these are just so delish I need to have one NOW!!! Stop... I can't look at this picture anymore... lol
Anyhow, hope you have a fantastic day!! Tomorrow is father's day. I don't celebrate father's day as I am minus a father in my life (that's a whole other story), so I will be celebrating BF's father for his special day.
