So I really need to apologize. I have been deleting people's comments by mistake!!! AHHHHhhh.. I'm such a goof ball and my blonde hair is seriously showing right now. I didn't know that if you clear your comment inbox that it deletes on the actual posts!!!! I absolutely LOVE when all of you comment, so now.. I'm not touching anything because I don't want to delete anything else. I'm still so new to blogger that fiddling around with it, is a major NO NO...
Every year at this time, I all of a sudden think... Frig.. it's going to be bikini season soon and I really need to get rid of all those jiggly parts that I have been hiding under my clothes. It's time for ripped-ness...lol..I'm going to do a whole post about my summer workout so stay tuned if you are interested to know what I do to get my body into high gear for summer time.
Since reducing my calorie intake from 2500 to 1500, sometimes I have been feeling a little hungry between meals. I have the bestest idea... protein shakes!
I totally forgot about having these until my sweetheart of a neighbour gave me a meal replacement shake to try that is absolutely yummy times a million I must say. I am so ordering some..lol. With that said, it totally reminded me that protein shakes are key to filling your tummy up quickly without grabbing for a bag of chips when you're getting hungry. I always find that's when I grab for junky foods. It also helps to shed some pounds too...bonus!!!!
Protein shakes really fill you up and they are so good for you!! One shake has lots of nutrients that you need on a daily basis. I know for me, I always get really hungry at certain times. I found that if I made a protein shake to take with me to work, I actually never felt hungry during my shift. I would have a protein shake mid morning, like 10am, then I was good to have lunch at 1pm. I know it might not work for everyone, but this really used to help me, so I want to get back into doing this beacuse I hate the feeling of being hungry!!!
If you're interested, all you do is buy a protein powder of you choice (I like chocolate), add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt, skim milk and voila!!! You just have to use a proper shaker or magic bullet if you have one. You can also put in fresh fruit if you want to but sometimes fruit has a lot of sugar, so just put in a little bit.
Try it... I promise you will love how quick and convenient it is!!!
