So I NEED to tell you about my air brush tanning experience. This experience is like no other. I have to report, I am now officially addicted to air brush tanning. The results are incredible... so even and natural looking. No orange-y-ness at all!!!
I failed to take a pic because my camera is acting up and battery dead, so I'm going for another air brush tan tomorrow and will hopefully have my camera up and running so until then, I had to take some pics from the internet. The pics that I have chosen for this post is exactly what you will look like...BUT... I have to tell you my story because WHOA!!!

So, I completely and uttery HATE mystic tans. They look awful on me...like beyond awful. My hands were embaressing, my feet were gross looking and my face looked like I had eaten way too many carrots... so bad!!!! I refused to go for anymore mystics, then I discovered air brushing....ok, I wanted to try it because it was my last hope! I have several weddings this summer, so I thought I would try out this air brushing tan a week before the first wedding to see if it's a thumbs up.. or a thumbs down.
When I went in for my air brushing appointment, I had to strip down into just my thong (I wore an old pair in case they might get ruined). You can go fully naked, or just partial, or you can wear a bikini. I would say just suck it up and expose those boobies because you get an even tan, without lines...who wants lines??
So I stood there with my breasts exposed in front of this lady who totally made me feel comfortable..thank the lord!!! She warned me that I was going to be really dark when I left the salon. She said that they spray you twice to lock in the color. Apparently you have to sleep with the tan on, then the next day, shower so it washes the top coat off and you are left with a beautiful, bronzed everything!!!
So she spray me...up and down and all around. I was DARK!!!! I looked at my legs and was like "wowzers!!!". When I was done, I looked in the mirror in horror!! I looked like I was ready for a body building competition!!! I was so dark that I completely changed races. I was not a white girl anymore, I was completely chocolate colored.... Oh heavens help me!!!
She said that because people go so dark, they recommend going straight home and don't go out in public. OH NO!!! I was dressed and ready to go grocery shopping with BF. I texted him right away and said We need to go home immediately... I look like a chocolate covered almond. He didn't get my text because when I went out to the car (he was picking me up), he looked at me and almost fainted. He said "O.M.G Mel.. I can't go out with you looking like this!!" LOL... All you could see was my beatty little eyes, my teeth and my blonde hair, the rest was covered in darkness...haha.. All I could think about was "I can't go into work for a week!"
Anyhow, the next day, I woke up extra early, showered and WOW... I had the most amazing tan I have EVER had in my life. It was bronzed to perfection!!! Everything was even, the color was gorgeous beyond anything I have ever had. I looked like I spent a week on vacation and had the most natural tan ever! I really loved it. Girls at my work complimented me, family, friends... everyone loved it!

So with that said, I highly recommend using an air brush tan for any occasion, everyday.. whenever! Apparently it lasts as long as 2 weeks, but you have to take care of it properly.. I didn't, so that's why I am going again tomorrow before the wedding Saturday. You cannot exfoliate afterwards, just hop in the shower, lightly soap yourself, and pat yourself dry.... no rubbing!!!
The air brush tan is 100% natural and 70% organic. It doesn't stain clothes, it washes out of hair, clothing, sheets.. anything. Oh... and I put a towel underneath myself at night, just in case and wore a loose fitting top.
I also have to remember to go in sweats tomorrow and not wear a bra, to avoid strap lines. Plus, you have to exfoliate the same day you go, don't wear any deodorant and DON'T moisturize.
I have been reading up on celebrities that use air brush tans and seriously... so many of them do. Look how incredibly gorgeous their tans are... you can be as light as you want... like glow-y, or as dark as you want. I opted for an in between color.

Sooooooooo... all in all, GO GET AN AIR BRUSH TAN!!! you will love it... This is the only place I tried, so I'm not sure if other places are different. I love that the tan looks so natural but doesn't hurt your skin. There are NO chemicals in it, so it's actually good for your skin as far as they told me..lol
I really love that it lasts for so long. I paid $35 for perfection... I paid about $30 for a mystic that made me look sickly, so YAY.. I'm glad I found love in an air brush.
I knew I would probably like it becasue I've had my make up air brushed on once, and totally fell in love with it. I also highly recommend this for brides-to-be. A tan against a white dress.... oh-so-beautiful! It will also make you look skinnier too...Yipppeeeee!
Oh.. and also... when you get the air brush tan, try to stay away from washing your hands and any water whatsoever... it will run the top coat off. Trust me, I found that out when I had to go home and wash my face because I couldn't go out looking freaky. Tomorrow BF has hockey, so I'm going straight home and doing nothing!
Anyhow, I'm starving, so it's dinner time for moi... Tonight I have chicken with sweet potatos...MMMmmmm...so yumalicious! Trying to stick to the 1500 cal diet.
